I think that percentage is wrong. But, different locations will have wildly different % of knowledge.
Where I work, it seems many know I am aware of Q. It is the subject of water cooler talk. People have came up to me and asked questions. Some are curious, but there is enough of the "he's a conspiracy nut" to keep the frightened away.
If Q said to trust someone. And for years they were trusted. That would be a dumb spot for a disinformation campaign.

If something doesn't fit a personal opinion using "disinformation is necessary" like it is a get out of jail free card, does not help the cause. Unless they are suggesting Q meant to mislead us?
They must do that according to law.
I know, I know. They have broken the law before.
