I googled his name and that’s the info I. Epstein’s brief profile provided by Google. That’s all I know. Good question though. I believe Google is similar to Wikipedia in that anyone can make an edit, maybe?

Not to dismiss your other points, because they are in fact valid, but no you cannot patent an idea. Conceptual patents are meaningless and hold no weight whatsoever.
