The jury found that Trump was guilty of falsifying records (because apparently, paying your lawyer is not a "legal expense") and ... other crimes that none of them had to agree on, they just needed it to attach to make it a felony.
At the end of the day, they really wanted the sentance in this case because now they get to call him a "convicted criminal" for 4 years. Prior to this, it was all in their minds. Not sure what this means for Trump's ability to vote, own a weapon, etc.
