The basic idea, if I can even sum it up, is that our legit government was "kicked out" and replaced by a literal corporation called THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA that, essentially, acted like our legit government. The elections became largely ceremonial at that point.
If you look at your drivers license, soc sec card, and birth certificate, you'll see that your name is in ALL CAPS...why? Because that is the name of a corporation that was created when you were born. You didn't know this because no one told you, but why do they do this? Because corporations don't have all the same rights as a human being. Thus, they can do things to the corporation named you, as long as you go along with it, which we all have, because none of this would ever occur to a sane, normal human being.
