The EBS is going to be a last resort though, isn't it? If Trump can address the nation and all the networks actually carry it (questionable at best), then it's not necessary. If they refuse to cover him, then use the EBS.
EBS encompasses not only the text messages like Amber alerts but also television, radio, etc.
I imagine MSM will cover, with a delay and trigger-happy anchors ready to pounce with their fact checks.
Well, he's been silent and the MSM is reporting it that way. Not that [they]'ve given him much more options than to use the EBS.
I'm sure if/when he announces a press conference, they'll carry it.
What if Trump comes out, and announces that he will be leaving the White House on January 15th, and has instructed his administration of insure a smooth transition to the Biden admin. I just checked my Wireless Emergency Alerts, Presidential Alerts: Presidential Alerts are mandatory and always turned on.
I can toggle off every other kind of alert.

I keep denying my android update. It now has a force install if you deny it too much. I have until January 18th before they force vaccinate my phone.
Upside to android over apple is Google leaves it to vendors to make and push updates. And they ate notoriously slow, overall. Now, if you use a pixel or Google made phone, you get the updates directly from Google who also sends those first before other vendors get it. Plus, turn off all auto updates, obv

My husband falls asleep after me every night. He puts on rain sounds to help him some nights. FEMA has an app. I downloaded the Android version. There is probably an iPhone version.
It let's you configure up to 5 regions. I am currently outside the US so I was concerned I would not get any notifications even though the phone is US based. So I was able to set up locations for home, plus family members in various parts of country, and Washington DC. You can select specifically which type of alerts (unchecked Amber Alerts, etc). I feel better now.

Start holding meetings to form priorities that are implemented out to the neighborhood level.
Furthermore, use community newspapers to communicate. Every community large and small in America has a community news paper, and most of the publishers/owners are patriots. These community news papers could organize by community, state, region, nationwide, and act in the same manner as the Committee of Correspondence during revolutionary times.
Read up on the Committee of Correspondence lead by Samuel Adams. Without this committee the revolution would not have succeeded. It was through this communications that the idea of an attack on one, is an attack on all formed.
