The black outline of the patch is missing and he is also missing the "mountain" tab above the patch that 10th mountain is famous for. They are the only unit to don the "mountain" tab. This is not 10th mntn patch.
The 10th mountain patch has a blck border. This guys does not. Also, if these guys are 10th mountain no way are they still wearing the old ACU army pattern body armor like the 2nd guy in line. National guard is always last in line for new gear, which explains why the guy behind him is wearing ACU body armor and not coyote tan or multi cam. Thats my observation least.
Edit: source, was active duty army for 8 years and national guard for 3.

That patch clearly does not look like 10th, to me. Looks like a totally dif. Image all together and that's just by looking at the distance between the handles of the swords at bottom - yeh I agree, I don't believe it's the 10th.

Good Morning. TDW transplant here. I know the 10th Mountain Marines are mentioned specifically by Q, but is there anything significant about the actual unit? Are they known for anything in particular with regards to operations like this? I’m not from the USA so I don’t know that much about your military units.
