We were all in agreeance that 25,000 troops was an insane amount. I had a post last week breaking it down just how many that is.
Now, the news is reporting that 7,000 are staying. A lot of people are saying "oh well damn it must not be happening cause most are going home."
That is EXACTLY what they want EVERYONE to think. There is zero need for 25k troops....other than to make 7,000 look like a tiny, and ACCEPTED number.
7,000 troops a shitload of military. You are still talking about almost a full division. Keep in mind, Afghanistan was invaded with 1,200 troops and only have 4,500 spread throughout the whole country there currently.
7,000 troops by itself would have caused a shitstorm....but 7,000 compared to 25,000 looks dismal and gives the impression that everyone is going home.

The troops sworn in as marshals are most likely still there. Flynn asked for 30 days on Dec 31. That gives us till the end of January. Many things are happening with the EOs Biden signed. It just makes sense. I am not a military expert, though for 5 years worked with a good team for corporate retreats, team building & individual growth using the Art of War & The Prince as the basis for the physical scenarios so team members could see the principles put into action.

This is exactly my point. That the perception of 7,000 troops is no big deal because the overall amount was so much greater and most are now leaving.
The troops were there along with the big structure and total air control, to make sure that nobody could see or report on the fake inauguration. They wiped the area of unwanted cameras and prevented access. And also arrested designated swamp people that came to the party or remained in the scene, and sometimes switched them for actors if they were on the VIP list. The holdouts, like no-show Cuomo, will be tracked down soon enough. The curtain drops and the credits will roll soon.
There will be no mass arrests, if there was, we're going to see a civil war. I'd prefer to avoid this.
This is a mind game, some of these people are either under arrest already and just allowed out to be seen in the public (like Nancy appears to be) or they aren't. I think it's a mix. These people have to resign first (doesn't mean they aren't actually in custody when out of public view, just means the perception is they aren't in custody), then after some time their arrest will come.

Nope the troops were because of the dirty bombs they lost. There was a time they had no idea where they were if they are sending some troops home than that tells me they now know where the missing bombs are. They said 7000 is all they need to complete the missing any troops leaving washington are likely being sent to another state.
