I'd say the best part is when Jerry L. Phillips looks up and realizes that this case is about to be a re-enactment of the "Where's the goat?" scene in Jurassic Park.
Lol, couple of things I’d like to point out. One, $500 fine for recording the zoom, ok someone is guilty of that. And two, the judge blatantly lies when he acknowledges that he “sees that he’s not a cat” no, all he sees is a cat, f’n lying judge! I’d argue the case needs to be thrown out for at least one of those blatant violations.
Anything can happen accidentally when a tech illiterate person is behind the wheel.
I'm not saying he is, I'm just saying that that is the most likely explanation.
The other thing; if someone else was using the computer before (a kid, for example) they could have turned the filter on, and it then was left on into the court case.
Our government has no regard for security procedures unless it's valuable to them. The lawyer (it wasn't the judge) was likely not logged in at all, and using a family computer. That same family computer may have been used by a child to communicate with friends/family, and that child probably set that filter.
Now, if people didn't have such short memories, they'd realize using zoom for any government action at all is a HORRIBLE idea, because zoom is blatantly and openly compromised by China.
looks up from zoom He said his assistant was trying to fix it... or something like that. Must have been talking about the cat and not ... or maybe they figured out how to MUTE ThE ZooM
That's the best thing I've seen all day---
"I'm here live....I'm...I'm...not a cat."

What happens if he identifies as a cat?
I needed this levity.

Where'd the $500 fine come from? Never heard that before.
It’s literally in writing in the black square above the judge’s head.
Silly me. Doh! Hope nobody goes to jail for this...
By far the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while. Thank you.

Whoever risked $500 and 180 days in jail to share this gem with the public deserves a metal of honor.

I know the attorney and I immediately thought the same thing. He is the county attorney for Presidio county in Texas. Scalia died in that county ?
