Just bought my first Sig Sauer P226 (LOVE IT!) 2 weeks ago. The background forms I filled out online were pretty short on questions I thought. Only about 10. Have I been
diagnosed with mental health problems, Have I been arrested for domestic violence, been given/charged with stalking, belong to a terrorist group, been convicted of a violent felony in past 10 years. Can’t remember others. Filled this out on Sunday and was told Tuesday I could come pick up my gun. Thought it would take longer for the government to check my background. Maybe the problem is how the gov’t is running the background checks not that we need new laws!
Last two times in the past several months the background check has taken around 10 days rather than 3 and our state org is already suing the state police for this as the law as written is that if they can't find a reason to block it within three days the firearm is to be released to the buyer.
They only care if the victims are children and more than 3 at the same time and unfortunately mostly white children. If 12 black children were killed in 1 weekend in Chicago in different places the Dems would not even hear of it!
All actions are part of the bigger picture...we have to keep our eyes open. Meme the shit out of it and keep the noise on it to 11.
