Radio call sign will only be AF1 if they want it to be. If there is a civilian airport with a ground operation waiting for AF1, then it the flight will probably call itself AF1 when communicating, unless there have been other arrangements made with the ATC/authorities at the airport.

Biden has not been on any of these, now its not to say at times previous presidents flew on other planes with or without the callsign AF1 or AF2 but its really suspicious that biden has not been flying on the hardened special planes made specifically for AF1 and AF2 duty.

AF1 will most certainly fly through Enroute sectors as well, and those are “civilian”.
