If someone says: "make better laws to solve these problems," Blame someone else then make laws that assume it's that someone else's fault.
If someone uses logic to show how your laws aren't addressing the problem, blame someone else louder.
If someone uses logic again, blame the entire group they are associated with, then pass laws to "solve the problem" using the assumption that that group is at fault as the guiding principle in the new law. This should make the problem so bad, people will stop looking at it because its too horrific. This is good in the short term, but bad in the long term because people's focus may come back to it at some point.
To avoid the problems encountered in rule 4, find a new problem (bonus points if it doesn't actually exist) and blame someone else for it (extra bonus points if it is the same group that was giving you problems before).
Smile and go collect your paycheck. Take extra pleasure in the fact that the people giving you a hard time are the same people who paid the taxes to help you buy a new Bimmer.

But...but the guys in that pic are so DIVERSE!! Surely that counts for SOMETHING!! Plus the dude on the left better slam that magazine into his AR, otherwise, it's useless.
Will you just get these FACTS through your head. Forks make people fat, Guns kill people, video games cause crime, and masks protect you from getting the chink-flu.
It’s a lot worse than that. The bill is 800 pages of bullshit. I made a post about it, and someone made a good point: they’re lowering the crime rates in those cities by just making crimes... not crimes!
That’s a good thought. Burke, Madigan, and who knows who else is going down. I cannot wait for the entire establishment in Illinois to be gutted and replaced.
Why would Trump pardon Blago? I hope it’s because he has something really good on tape. That whole crew, Rezko, Obama, Blago, Jarrett, Big Mike....Chicago slime at its finest.
That would be epic, wouldn't it? I was no fan of Blago's while he was Guv, and cheered his exit on 'The Apprentice' but the clemency move on Trump's part gave me definite pause. There HAD to have been a reason. If not, he would have pardoned Joe Exotic. Based on a couple semi-public speeches he's given since his release, it seems ol' Blago is now a firm Trump loyalist, and could be prepared to return the favor.
I've played GTA since the first one. I've never stolen a car. As far as I know, it's a much more complicated process than pressing triangle on a controller, and you'd need someone to teach you how to do it in person.
The bill filed by Rep. Marcus Evans Jr. is in response to a recent increase in carjacking in Chicago, which he attributes to "Grant Theft Auto", according to media reports.
Hmm, so let me get this straight, a game released in September of 2013 is NOW finally increasing the number of carjackings. This, over 7 years after it was first released. So for the first 7 or so years people who owned and played this game didn't clue in that it was allegedly telling them to steal cars. But now suddenly they got the message?
I think this guy took that New York Time article to stop critical thinking a little too seriously. I don't have words for how utterly stupid this logic is.
Rules of Politician Training
I regret that I have but one updoot to give for this.
So, they think theycan preemptively blame GTA for thwir soon to be record crime wave.
These niggerdly mother fuckers. "I'm a peace loving man of the people mother fucker."- Carl 'CJ' Johnson before robbing a liquor store.
there goes GTA 6 then
Let's ban blm and antifa since looting and riots have increased since their formation
Does anyone here play GTA5?
I'd like some people to play with that I half way trust.
Also, car jackings have been going on since the introduction of the car. Everywhere.
These people are stupid.

Maybe they should ban all the COD games then in order to stop all the wars.
The problem is gun laws. ?
Gun laws embolden criminals.
Hahahahahaha
Cat jackings in Illinois have been going on since the introduction of cars. Everywhere, in fact.
This is ghey and stooopid
Gonna have to ban that pesky music too, oh what a slippery slope
It's funny how video games have never inspired me to go out and do a real-life carjacking

It's Jack Thompson all over again.
Setting aside the inflammatory topic title for a second, ten bucks says this has the opposite effect.

Rod Blagojevich has joined the chat.
No? Too soon?

Poverty, lead in the water, single motherhood. These people are struggling under the DS like anyone else FFS
The only way to stop the crime in Chicago is to actually enforce the law equally as it was intended.
