The $27 million settlement makes it a lot more likely that the police officer gets his case moved to another part of the state. Unfortunately, the publicity over the case was nationwide, and Minnesota doesn't have that many places the trial could get moved.

You're wrong. The first autopsy ruled that he died of heart failure- albeit 'complicated' due to the actions of Chauvin. Then, the family contracted for a second independent autopsy and surprise surprise, they conclude it was homicide.

The Floyd thing was non-sense. If I had to guess, I would guess that it is a false flag. Chauvin and Floyd happened to know each other, worked together in the past? Hm, very suspicious. But when you look at it, it is almost PERFECTLY DESIGNED to cause racial division in this country. So perfect it can really only have been drawn up on a chalkboard and created by Hollywood.
George Floyd was an unarmed black man. He was viciously held down by a police officer. Knee on the neck. He begged and pleaded but nobody would help. Everyone stood by and watched him be murdered in broad daylight by this white racist cop. That is how they sold it to the black/white liberal crowd.
But then the facts come out. George Floyd was high off of his ass. He was using counterfeit money. He was actually yelling "I can't breathe" before Chauvin ever put his knee on him. The move Chauvin used was part of their standard training. Floyd had a history of violence. The autopsy says heart failure. We learn he had enough fentanyl to kill him, along with meth. The media conveniently ignores ALL of these things. That is what pissed off the white/conservative crowd.
Meanwhile, they'd already amped up the BLM/Antifa people to start burning shit down. They'd already sold the narrative that this was a gentle giant black man murdered for NO REASON. But then when the facts come out, and conservatives start talking about them, we can be deemed racist and hateful.
