"My son / daughter now self-identifies as being Asian. Therefor, we demand that they receive special privileges at your school to compensate for any supposed racism."
"In the future, please refrain from oppressing my child with your whiteness, blackness, latino-ness or any other 'nesses', 'isms' or 'ites' which might impair his/her ability to enjoy our society as a quasi-Asian."
Well... I mean they are quoting Tim Cook... his expertise in the subject would be what exactly? What is with wokeism and trusting corporations? I don't understand.
Timmy Cook is a botter (a schoolboy term we used for fags many years ago in England). As such, his opinion must be worth more than that of a heterosexual. Also, he's rich. That makes his opinion super-important and valid.
I’d respond with “unfortunately, my tax dollars are being used for this claptrap crap. Please be advised that, going forward, my child will be home schooled.”
But, the school doesn’t get any the $ for the student when they aren’t there. So while I am still paying for the school, the school system is losing money for every child not in school.
Tell them that if they simply trust one source of information to dictate their views then they are failing as teachers. Remind them of the amount of times newspapers publish false information, followed by two month's later a tiny retraction buried deep in the paper.
Cite some examples, there are plenty to choose from when newspapers have lied, there's a meme on here where CNN are rubbishing Hydroxychloriquine because Trump spoke well of it, now they (CNN) run a headline about how much it could help. Point out how biased and political they have become.
Yeah, my point of view was coming from the audacity that the Superintendent had sending this to the entire district. As if everyone shares the same opinion/perception on the matter and if they want to talk about being offended, how offensive this message is to me. It is very unprofessional and not inclusive. I’d also like to point out that the shooter identified his motivation as not racially inspired.
So after the fake rub & rug shooting and the fake NYC subway attack with jelly donut “blood” we have a racist toward Asians issue? China is putting the finger in the toilet stream media’s butthole and manufacturing this nonsense.
They heard "Chyna virus" once too often (the first time) and, ralizing how effective the race card is, told the fake news to scrape for incidents involving Asians. These incidents should be examined in more detail.
Reply with positive enthusiasm. Bestow lavish thanks on the school for daring to address the epidemic of physical violence unleashed on Asian Americans by African Americans.
Let the school know that after a full year of watching on TV the nightly violence perpetrated all over the USA by and on behalf of African Americans, you are glad they are finally taking a stance on this long-overlooked issue. Tell them that as a white person, you will feel a lot safer when Asians no longer have to fear blacks.
Patriots have no skin color. Once upon a time we taught that the United States was a melting pot. A place where people from diverse backgrounds and cultures could become one thing first and foremost; Americans. We held up E Pluribus Unum as an ideal, something we believed in and continually strived to achieve.
Did that ever mean people were barred from celebrating their family heritage? No, of course not. Look at all the wonderful ethnic festivals around our beautiful country. What it meant is we recognized both where we came from and the opportunity we were given to be or become Americans. Bring American was a point of pride that unified us.
If returning to teaching and believing in this ideal stopped a single hate crime we should all conclude it is well worth the effort. Are there any reference materials you can offer that accentuate this American ideal of unity? We all share so many wants and desires. Isn’t it simple logic that focusing on what we have in common will go a long way in reducing the narrative we are deeply divided?
If you can’t tell I’m from the school of thought that you use their tactics against them. Although that first sentence probably sends them running. Will it work? It would probably work better on fellow parents than the school administration.
Ask them to provide documentation proving that each of those 3800 acts of violence was motivated by racial hate.
Otherwise,, that number sounds more like random crime committed against anyone of any race.
Then provide your own statistics about crime against and by ALL races, including the dreaded whites.
Are there even any Asian Americans at that school, both students or teachers? If not there's no reason to pander to people who aren't there, nobody will notice or care.
Write them a letter back that says "Me no rikey."
holy top kek fren!
Send them back a note saying:
"My son / daughter now self-identifies as being Asian. Therefor, we demand that they receive special privileges at your school to compensate for any supposed racism."

Mr. Cook loves slaves labor.

Doesn’t prevent you from paying taxes that fund that school.
But, the school doesn’t get any the $ for the student when they aren’t there. So while I am still paying for the school, the school system is losing money for every child not in school.
Why aren't they putting as much effort into actually teaching the kids as they are brainwashing them into believing anything the NYT's puts out?

tell them this divisive agenda is a harm to me and therefore a harm to all.
"our cultural strength has always been derived from our understanding and experiencing deez nutz" YO MAMA
only was is by mocking them.
I might say using a quote from Tim Cook of apple is totally asinine as they use slave labor!!
Send them the eight grade graduation test from 1895, and ask them to answer it as a group.

Already taken care of. We will wrap up this year and be done going forward.
Ask them for the statistics regarding racial bias against Asian-Americans in the DPS rather than relying on national statistics.

OH, FFS! Asians don't want any sympathy from America. NO ALM!!! They stand on their own!
How many of those asians were in old folks homes in democrat run states?
That's globalism. With focus on racism replacing patriotism and defense of america.
Are there even any Asian Americans at that school, both students or teachers? If not there's no reason to pander to people who aren't there, nobody will notice or care.
I live in VT. There is one Asian kid in my boy's school. I got one too. I know, it's Vermont.
"I am angered and appalled by the rise in hate and violence against Trump supporters." Quote imaginary statistics to prove your point.
