Think of the scenario they were imagining this would result in. Armed angry red hat wearing southerners shooting a bunch of black people who didn’t even know how to carry the guns they were carrying. This would have been milked for years.

There is no argument that can be made to support what CBS is doing. Everyone should know how wrong this is and contrary to a fair trial. The cornerstone of our democracy is founded on a fair trial. How can they do this?

This is the judge's fault for not sequestering the juror's.
The initial request for full sequestering was rejected by the judge, and even now whilst they are deliberating they are free to access external information during their lunch breaks.
It can only be deliberate in such a politically charged case.

So what's to say people can't go there and help the jurors at their home, if the information is public as many people need to meet the rioters at the place and show that they won't stand down.... They are really edging for an acquittal
They should be put in prison and if any harm befalls anyone, executed.
That could help. If he's found guilty, that would be a perfect reason for a new trial. If he is found innocent, no harm no foul. The problem would happen if the jury was leaning toward innocent and the judge declares a mistrial.
It's almost as if they're trying to sabotage their own farce so they can get maximum chimp out and get a win.
I was explaining this to two of my son's a few minutes ago:
If they get an acquittal, they chimp out and [they] get a win. If they get a reduced charge conviction, they chimpnoit and get a win. If they get a full on conviction of murder, they still chimp out in celebration and get a win.

To be honest, if I were in the jury room, I would suggest coming back as a hung jury.
