Sometimes I think the plan is ‘how hard do we have to hit them to wake them up!!’ because lots of people still want the vaccine. Half of pregnant women offered it are taking it even.

It’s odd in Ireland. People just shrug, and in some parts of the country just ignore the regulations, moan a bit, but don’t fight against them either.
Some parts of the country believe everything on the telievision.
Some people are fighting it. But most doctors seem to genuinely believe this. The health service has been creaking along for years with worn out staff so there’s a mixture of Stockholm syndrome and just not critically thinking any more.
Then the politicians, media are spreading the message like crazy. With various academics talking shite.
The latest scare-story today was about maternal/foetal COVID causing autism.
Government is voting to extend restrictions to November. By which time we’ll be getting the usual autumn/winter coughs and colds back.
Ireland lost their way when they voted as a country to allow abortion.
The only country in the world, EVER to vote for abortion.
All other countries had done judicially.
They will come back. But not after doing a repeat of their old and sad history.
Damn shame, I went a couple years ago and the people are the nicest I’ve ever met. Although at the time, they were trying to make blasphemy illegal. I asked a few times which century we were in.

I also can't stand Russell Wilson. He was a regular at a restaurant I worked at in college. He is fake as fuck and arrogant. I also don't like the fact that he demands to be paid top 3 QB money while bitching about the OL. Meanwhile Tom Brady takes a pay cut and just keeps winning.

I dunno, I've been ignoring the whole thing for over a year and getting on fine. I got a badge that says face mask exempt and any time I got stopped by the guards at checkpoints I said I'm visiting a grave and they had to let me through. I'm sure there'll be a way around vaccines too don't worry
