I think it was easy living that did us in. I was a moderately successful entrepreneur in the 70's and my son had to earn half of everything he wanted. But there wasn't so much to want in those days and it was more innocent - like pacman.
Now my son is very well-off after working very hard and his kids don't have to work for anything. They have had their own credit cards and amazon accounts since they were ten. They are all total narcissists - who can blame them.
I hope the new world we are moving into requires us all, of all ages, to work for whatever we want to create in our lives. We can all create with our minds if we are taught how.
Easy living is bad for health, for our morals and for our souls.
It's about to get a lot harder for people. They are going to look around and ask how did we let this happen. Parents standing up to school boards give me some hope. We are doing that in my area, but far too many don't want to get involved. We sat at a little league park last night to gather signatures for no masks at our school for next year. Small thing, probably won't matter much, but it's a start ( I know it's just a paper like she says). The amount of indifference was disgusting. People can't even bother to sign a fucking clipboard. If they won't sign a paper, how are they going to get off their ass to fight?
Why would you give your kids that much. All privilege without responsibility is destructive. It's a sure way to weaken your own children.
My son was 17, I asked if he was gong to college and he said no. So I told him that he better have a job and place to live after he graduated. He joined the marines and from there he has flown high. No dad crutch for my kids. Sink or fucking swim now.
I like how Joe Rogan put it one time, and I will paraphrase: "The problem we have today is that we do not have to hunt for our food." In other words, as you stated above, we have it too easy. The human brain is meant for problem solving, and since we have satisfied the most basic needs, we have started inventing problems to solve. The left are pros at this. They create the problems that they "save" us from so that people feel they must rely on them for everything.

Remember, we were ASKED to stand down while the patriots fixed this. It was much more difficult for some of us than most others. I've no shame, I agreed to defer to them to fix this. Does it seem to slow. He'll yes. Does it look bleak at times, fuck yeah, but, the reality is we won already Nd now events will lead many to finally believe it.
And if not, this is perhaps the most elaborate, most devilish scheme they have pulled off. They have infiltrated our movements, convinced us to stand down, that we are saved. All while they keep inching us forward to the point of no return.
It is a terrifying thought, but the more I think about it, the more possible it seems.
