Food pyramid—->covid 29 (after Hillary’s 2 terms, imagine a stronger covid with even more social brainwashing. We would be trapped at home wearing masks and buying from Microsoft Apple and Amazon forever with no room for rebellion)
The way the food pyramid is designed, many people will be overweight, some morbidly obese, some obese, some pudgy, etc. What our government considers food should be a crime. If it isn't on the outer sides of a grocery store, do not buy it. Fresh fruit, vegetables, dairy, eggs, meat, seafood. Grow what you can. If you can have chickens, goats, etc, do it. Get heirloom seeds to grow the produce that grows easily where you are. When you can, create a greenhouse and grow items you would love to eat. Try aquaponics, etc.
Well, I’m not gonna sugar coat it, because they’ll eat that too! In all seriousness though, “fat shaming” is probably a term created by doctors that make money on liposuction or other procedures that don’t actually treat the underlying issues that lead to obesity.
Given the mentality and feelings of people today, they'd probably think they're being shamed simply by being told they need to go on a diet and lose weight.
Doctors make their money selling you on the food pyramid, and diet schemes that don't work.
Dr. Fung breaks down the real cause behind weight gain in his book The Obesity Code. The short version: Every time you eat anything your body produces insulin in order to allow your fat cells to begin storing energy for later. Without this mechanism we'd all die from starvation. The problem: our bodies were never meant to be fed like conveyer belts 24/7. The more often you eat, the higher your insulin levels go, and the more fat your body will build. It gets worse though. In a state of chronic high insulin, your body is literally incapable of accessing its own fat stores for fuel due to its expectation of more food coming in.
The true secret to weight and health management has been taught to us through nearly every faith on the planet. Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism; they all teach the cure. Its called fasting. Pick your path; you can go for the circadian rhythm of 12 hours of food to 12 hours of fasting (12/12), or push it up to 16/8, 20/4, 23/1, or go for something more challenging like a 36-48 hour fast. The time you spend away from eating is time your body is spending in a low insulin state in which it has access to your fat cells.
Dr. Fung also makes it clear that a simple caloric deficit that most doctors preach is actually counterintuitive and detrimental to weight loss. The body is way to smart for that approach. Imagine our ancestors living the hunter gatherer lifestyle if they had a body that would stay at a constant caloric need no matter the availability of food. They would have starved to death. The body is very capable of lowering its energy needs if it senses that food is scarce. If you limit your calories to 1500 a day, soon your body will adjust its energy expenditure to accommodate only 1500 calories, and just like that you are stuck in the mud with your wheels spinning. This is why people who go on diets often find themselves feeling cold, lethargic, sleepy, etc. Their bodies are literally shutting down nonessential functions in order to avoid burning precious fat.
Obesity is the major comorbidity that can cause death from any number of viruses and bacterial diseases. No one held a gun to their heads, they just used food as a comfort item, and disregarded all the health knowledge out there. Don't pander your poor life choices to me and call it oppression.
“Self-blame”?? It’s called taking responsibility for your own actions.
Got a thyroid issue? Get it diagnosed and treated. Other than that, foie gras ducks/geese are about the only beings walking this planet who aren’t accountable for their own weight gain. Seriously... put the fork down.
Interesting tie-in, a Rutger’s “professor”, Brittney Cooper (of Stacey Abrams’ heft) declared that President Trump was responsible for black women’s obesity.
Any time I see a rea, really fat Fattie, I wonder "how does that land whale wipe her ass". Then I roll away and folks wonder why this "other-abled" Veetnam Vet is laughing. Fuck 'm.
Maybe since February is Black History Month... and June is LGBTQ month... we can designate November as National Overweight / Obesity Month.
That would be great timing. November starts the day after Halloween (so you have tons of candy available), then includes Thanksgiving and all of the pre-Christmas candy, pastries and fruit cakes become available.
Since more than 1/3rd of the U.S. is Overweight or Obese... which spans all races, religions, genders, etc... we can all celebrate.
I will say it, I’m overweight but not because I over eat, and not so bad that I need a wheelchair to go shopping, though once in a blue moon (like once every few years) I may have to only because I’m in too much pain and I need to food shop. I’d rather walk. I have health issues that makes it incredibly difficult for me to exercise, to walk or stand for long periods of time, or it causes me pain. Lots of times I overdue myself and pay for it one or more days. As I get older it’s even harder to do more and recently to find out that I not only have vestibular migraines (which I’ve had for a long time) that I also have Ménière’s. Makes it even harder for me to exercise because my balance is off. I also have bad back issues, which has a lot to do with my weight gain. I wasn’t always overweight, but I’ve always had back issues since I was a teenager(now in my 50’s), and my back went out on me quite a bit then also. The weight gain started while pregnant with second child, harder to lose weight for me. At the time I had a toddler & an infant and a husband overseas in military. Didn’t leave me much time for self care or much else when caring for little ones on your own. I do exercise some but I’m sure it’s not enough, but it’s what I can do for now, though I have lost 17 lbs since starting a diet for the Ménière’s. Had to cut out a few things, but hasn’t been too bad.
Anyway, I don’t like seeing people bashing others because of their weight, because you don’t know why they are the way they are. One time when I was hurting I had to use a wheelchair at the store & some idiot said something rude to me because I was in his way as he was walking around me. I was surprised at how insensitive he was, he didn’t have any idea why I was using the chair or how much pain I was in even though I was using the wheelchair. He didn’t know it was actually the first time I was using one & how hard it was for me to actually use it, because I’d rather walk unless it’s way too painful. How dare he complain that he had to actually take an extra second out of his day to walk around me. If I had a shopping cart he would still have to walk around me. I know I have weight to lose to make myself healthier, and I’m working on it, but I’ll do it for my reasons & at my own pace, not because someone thinks I’m fat or doesn’t like the way I look.
Hey fren,
I'm not overweight so I can't say I understand. But my little sister is obese. It hurts me too see my little sister unhealthy. But I love her regardless how she looks. I can see how physical and or mental pain can cause weight gain or make it difficult to lose weight. I do see insensitive people mocking bigger people... But I'll tell you, as a healthy fit person, I'd be the first to cheer you on in any progress of getting yourself healthier and feeling better. An lots of women stop taking care of themselves after having children because frankly, we often don't have time gurl! So good for you for doing what you can when you can.
We're are fellow Patriots, an this overweight vs. skinny/fit people is just another "divide and conquer"
Let's not fall into their traps of dividing ourselves. We should be lifting each other up to be the best we can be. Also no overweight person ( in my experience) is blaming anyone but themselves anyway. Be the example and help them out with advice if they ask for it.
WWG1WGA.
Thanks! Appreciate your comment! I’m trying the best I can, and that’s all I can do. You are right, we do blame ourselves and shame ourselves more than people realize. I don’t think anyone likes being overweight. And I don’t believe there should be a “fat shaming day” or month, just like I don’t think should be a black history month or LGBTQ month. And now they are pushing Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (in May). Can’t we all just be Americans and read up on whatever history you want on your own? I don’t think we need to celebrate each color of skin tone. I think all these “specialty” months are dividing us even more, just like you said about the fat shaming, it divides us more. Could you imagine what msm would say if there was a white history month? Lol
To determine the hierarchy first you must add all virtue signaling points to get his social credit score. Lots of variables here. First is he gay? Then he climbs up maybe 50 points. Is he disabled? Thats another 25. But then you need to weigh the detrimental variables as well, for instance if he's ever supported trump thats like negative 200 points. Is he a cop? Well thats another 200. Honestly im not a professor though and all this shit changes. This might be outdated
This is what’s wrong with the world. No one can own up to any of their own issues. It’s not the world’s fault you’re fat and continue to be fat because you’re too upset about being fat to try to not be fat just because the world noticed you ARE fat. Take some personal responsibility, damn. If you are fat, it is LITERALLY your fault. Who else’s could it possibly be?? And being fat is unhealthy. That’s an actual fact. Just because a fact offends you doesn’t take away that it is a fact. So tired of everyone with a personal problem making it everyone else’s problem.
People are fat from poor choices and lack of self control statistically. Fat people increase overall cost of Healthcare for us all. What is it going to take?

Losing weight is so easy.

Share Dr. Fung's book with anyone you find who is stuck in a state of obesity. Make no mistake, the medical industry wants people to be fat, and they've been selling us the wrong cures all along.
Thanks dude, I had a feeling water fasting was extremely effective.
Obesity causes more than half of all deaths. Big food pushes deadly cuisine on the eager public. CO(N)VID effects fat people disproportionately.

Legit I am 290lbs and 5'10 and wiping is already a stretch for me, there's no way some of the utter blimps I see can even reach.
Never stop an enemy when they are making a mistake. These victim groups are going to destroy the progressive movement...
'Self-blame' for something they 'self' did is how it should be. No one pushed them over a railing and into a giant vat of calories.
More victim mentality...

Fat month incoming...
Im fat too where are my gibs
Great, so which month is gonna be fat pride?
They are ashamed to go out. They are fat-shaming themselves. Almost everyone faces some kind of criticism or has been made fun of.
Put on your big girl panties and deal with it.

I'm a fat person. This is a cop out. Grow a pair you fat losers. I get it. Its hard to lose weight. You don't have to whine about it.
Also... if you don't like me being fat you can go fuck yourself.
