I buy cherry diet pepsi, it is excellent. I also buy sugar free Torani Vanilla syrup, and add it to the Pepsi when I want that taste. It is a real treat on crushed ice, and I have come to prefer the taste of Diet Pepsi over my old drink, Coke Zero.
There was an adjustment period, granted, but now - I like it very much!
Hate to tell you (I love Dr. Pepper too), but at least half the time Dr. Pepper is distributed by Coca-Cola and not Pepsi. You'll have to check every bottle/can.
Since the boycott of them began, I have closely watch Pepsi and Coke products pricing in S.E. Michigan. They are always very competitive, within a dollar of each other, if one is on sale and the other isn't, etc.
The last couple of months, Pepsi has risen the price (more demand), and coke has lowered the price, or has been on sale very, very frequently.
Today, there was a $4. price difference between buying 3 - 8 packs of Pepsi over 4 - 6 packs of Coke. I've never seen such a price disparity before.
I've been boycotting coke this entire time (and I used to drink 1 a day)... but I am not at all a fan of local government doing the banning. This is abuse of power.
It's fine to boycott a business on a personal, private level, but a county banning a company for their politics shouldn't be celebrated. Imagine if Biden or congress banned My Pillow cuz of muh politics. This sword cuts both ways.
They can if they engage is child sexual abuse grooming them using their products and won’t stop. You can also do it if they are using their shit products to interfere in our electoral process. Fuck em
I'm not buying coke, because they seem to be fully onboard the Kalergi plan like a lot of the other global corporations. I hope they go bankrupt for it. That said, I still don't support governments forcing boycotts. You can call it war or whatever other reason to justify it when its your side that abuses power, but the other side will just make up their own justifications and do the same when they have the power. Best to not set that precedent.
I live in Surry County, where this happened, and just sent an email to Mr. Harris to congratulate him on the decision. Now if we could only get rid of our blackmailed governor!
I know of a semi large university that gave Coka kola rights to be the only soda distributor on campus. The agreement was in exchange for a state of the art scoreboard. All Pepsi products were eliminated immediately and forever. That was in 1988.
Serious question, why exactly all the hate on Coke? Yes I remember that time they offered their employees that Linked-in Learning module on woke white badness some shit. Be aware though that all over the world all large companies are doing exactly that.
My company is pushing Linked-in Learning on me for a huge range of subjects, some tech-related and some like diversity whatever. They want cheap dopey training so they can brag in the MSM about how they offer great growth and learning opportunities for their people. The reason for all the rainbow stuff though is purely legal - when they get taken to labour court by an employee who alleges discrimination the company needs to be able to say "not our fault, we did our best to educate against racism and inequality." It's just a tick in the box is all.
Well I prefer Pepsi or beer anyway but just maybe Coke is getting a bad rap here.
Apparently then you think it’s okay for a company to advocate for “being less white”. For me that’s unacceptable just as it would be for Coke to advocate to its black employees to “be less black”. For them to target anyone based on skin color is deplorable and I’ll boycott them until every woke-assed loser in that firm is fired.
They’re marxist trash at this point in time, trying to create any kind of division amongst Americans that they feel they can get away with. Like so much the pathetic DS swamp scum has tried to date, it just backfires. In the meantime I’ll be drinking other beverages and will try to keep up with which corporations have (temporarily) gone marxist so as to boycott them, too.
You’re free to support any companies you want, to accept any sort of behavior/policies they may have. So am I.
The “Confronting Racism” course in question was offered by LinkedIn Education and allegedly utilized by the soft-drink titan.
Utilized along with shirtloads of other weasely companies worldwide as I explained previously. If anything you should be attacking Linked-in for creating this horror.
This is an excellent idea. Coke is not the only one but it will be noticed.
Bongino often quotes the rules for radicals and says to use it against the left. Freeze a target, focus on it, make an example of it.
Frens everyone should ban that poison. Specially small business. They hate us.
Oh Vanilla Coke, I like you, but I’ll never buy you again for the greater good if I have too! /silent cries. I’ve got Dr. Pepper for now.

Freedom Pop tastes great.
If only you knew how Liberal Pepsi is.. So much more than Coca-Cola.. Cancel them both from your life.
No thank you.
Make your own with soda steam
Which is owned by Pepsi, incidentally.
You can't get away from these fucks.
Disney, Nestle, Coke, Proctor & Gamble, Lever
What about A&W Root Beer? I've been drinking that since I canceled Coke.
Did not know, thank you, fren!
Invented in Israel

Chocolate Dr. Pepper @ Sonic! ~{°¡°}~
Hate to tell you (I love Dr. Pepper too), but at least half the time Dr. Pepper is distributed by Coca-Cola and not Pepsi. You'll have to check every bottle/can.
Dr. Pepper is a Dr. Pepper/Snapple product.
No affiliation with Coke.
Just a personal observation:

Yeah. The home of Mayberry (Mount Airy) https://www.visitnc.com/story/DvHg/beyond-the-guidebook-mount-airy-the-real-life-mayberry
It has nothing to do with Cooper. It's a county matter.
Is this the cancel culture everyone is on about?
Remember when Coca Cola tested positive for cv..?

I loved the made in Mexico version that uses sugar cane in place of high fructose corn syrup, was so much tastier.
Og glass bottles, Mexican coke was best... no more

Never bring a knife to a gun fight.
Agreed; really scary to see our side celebrating this... clear abuse of power.
What goes around comes around.this is total war for America kids futures.
Local Government should not have the power to ban companies based on political stance, this is a dangerous path to head down.
They can if they engage is child sexual abuse grooming them using their products and won’t stop. You can also do it if they are using their shit products to interfere in our electoral process. Fuck em

This is exactly what needs to happen... be petty as fuck lol
And mormon
I haven't had a single coke product since Georgia... it was way easier than i thought it would be.
I live in Surry County, where this happened, and just sent an email to Mr. Harris to congratulate him on the decision. Now if we could only get rid of our blackmailed governor!
Yes, this is the way.
Not to mention it’s literal poison you are putting in your body
Sock it to 'em.
