More and more people in my deep blue state are going maskless. Our vax rate, according to the state gov, is approaching 60% "fully vaccinated" and according to our state mask mandate, only "Fully Vaccinated" people are allowed to go maskless. I think their numbers are BS. I'm using Walmart as my gauge. I estimate that between 10-20% or shoppers are mask zombie vs 80-90% being free-facers - except for the Walmart workers - they are about 90% mask wearers vs. 10% no-mask. Walmart allows their employees to go maskless if the employee can prove they've received their death-jab PLUS they even pay them a bonus for doing so. That being the case, why are so many of their employees still wearing masks? The easy answer is they have not been vaccinated. Why not - they can literally get the shot while they are on break at work and get paid to do so. I guess where I'm going with all of this is that I think the vaccine numbers are bullshit and that most of the people without a mask are not vaccinated. If my assumption is correct, and we don't see "over burdened health systems" and people dropping dead on the street, people are smart enough to figure out that all of this mask mandate crap was all a control mechanism. Add in all the recent revelations about COVID thanks to Fauci's emails and other sources (and more revelations to come, I'm sure) and I have faith that most people will not allow our government to push us back in that direction. All this adds up to "them" easing up before all the really damaging info comes out in an attempt to soften the blow-back that John Q is sure to want to deliver.
Same here. The takeout places had rules about only having the mask off when you're sitting down (COVID is a smart virus and can differentiate) but since last weekend, more are coming in without masks. No idea how many of the maskless are vaccinated though. I'm sure plenty like me aren't.
Oddly enough, I believe that most of the mask-zombies are actually the ones to have most likely been vaccinated - they are the true believers and the mask is their way of virtue signaling themselves to other zealots - know why I think that - weird hair dye jobs, skinny jeans wearers, people with "Coexist" stickers on their cars - those are the people I see still wearing masks.
I am in CA. Little league games, hundreds of parents coming and going for several games occurring on several fields. Not one mask. No distancing. Central Valley.
Went to the grocery store last evening. All but 1 person(of about 20+) was maskless. Of course the employees are required by their employer to continue with the scam. Usually husband would be the only one not wearing a mask, it's officially over here except in the hospital.?
I was with some family today and said well it looks like corona is magically gone. They said yes it is because enough people got the vac that it was knocked out. ??♀️ People are dumb.
New York State?? Today I went to an upscale nursery by where all the libtards live, and most of the women were wearing masks. I just gave them pitying looks.
In a fairly red area in NY. Yes there are enclaves. Was an event commemorating a local vet. Included a 2 mi walk/5k run, so maybe that was part of the reason, but not a mask in sight. Also Memorial day parade a couple weeks ago was nearly maskless as well.
