I got an infected splinter in my thumb.splinter out but still infected. Went to minute clinic told me they cant help me cuz i cant wear a mask and its federal guidelines. Told tge lady who was a total bitch about it,fuck it ill go home and cut it open with a razor and walked out.
Hospital has a 10 hour wait and requires mask as well.
I called my veterinarian. Explained what i got going on.no problem he said, ill call you when im out of work.
Remember people.if you get turned away, try alternative ways.vets go through human medical school before going to animal schools.theyre human doctors first. Alot of animal meds are just repackaged human meds.
Where do i file a complaint on cvs???
I won't give any names, because they would just start a witch hunt to outlaw them, but there are products that are equivalent to human meds available at a lot of sources online and in farm and pet supply stores.
I had a guy tell me, "a lot of poor people take this, they can't afford a doctor". I have taken that particular med.
I am taking Fenbendazole mainly used for animals. It's wonderful.
https://www.connersclinic.com/fenbendazole-joe-tippens-anti-cancer-drug-treatment/
Yep. Joe is the reason I am taking it.
is it working for you, has this been confirmed that its getting better by a doctor? All the best man.
I will know when I get my next scan. I feel great though.
My mom has stage 4 lung cancer (hasn't smoked a day in her life) and started this medication before starting oral chemo and all of her tumors are considered "tiny" now.
awesome...... :)
Me too.
Like noted horse-dewormer Ivermectin
I take it too.
Me too! From Tractor Supply.
Like the one that cures stage4 cancer ? Some interesting stories on that written by the survivors
What's the animal equivalent for Viagra? Asking for a friend.
Viagra is generic now, you can get it as sildenafil. Insurance still won’t pay for it because it’s only classified use is for Pulmonary atrial hypertension. But with a coupon from goodrx you can get 30 50mg tablets for under $15 tell your doc to write you a script for sildenafil and shop around but tell the pharmacist you’re using a coupon and paying out of pocket so they don’t run through insurance….a friend told me this
Like my neighbors daughter told her after the steal “looks like we are on our own”. True. I mailed my boys survival books this week by A American. You either see whats coming and prep or u r gonna have a problem surviving. I swear most refuse to see obvious decay and destruction.
I dont understand how people can go about their lives and not be concerned with the destruction of their country and world.
Thing is preppers have been saying the same for decades. Many of them are long gone. It can feel like the boy who cried wolf. I had a friend who bought a house that came with a bunker that he'd throw parties in. That bunker's creator made it for doomsday reasons and it now serves as a party zone.
In February in Texas we had a 100 year freeze. It got down like 8F and stayed below 32 for like 6 days. I happened to have two 2kW generators. One ran our little heater and lights. One ran my neighbors heater. So this is a case where having some prep paid off. Awaking in a 50F house was a lot better than 40F for those without generator. So now im overprepping vs just hoping the “authorities” save us. U didnt see a cop or govt official the whole week. Ur on ur own.
Very good points. A lot of people have the huge natural gas powered generators built into homes that auto kick in, where I live. But any natural disasters that damage the lines will render those useless, though that's not very likely to happen where I live.
I've considered picking up a generator.
Tons of stuff like tea tree oil and even triple antibiotic ointments from the drugstore that are VERY effective for localized infections like that. Learn about those things and stock up on supplies BEFORE you need them, ideally. People go to the doctor for way too many minor things these days. There is so much you can do yourself. And doctor offices and hospitals can indeed be very hazardous locations.
Usually i can take care of it myself. It happens a lot with all the fluids and shit i deal with on cars. Usually find the spot the puss is trying to come out of and pick at with a razor.it pops, the shit drains,it heals.but not this time.
Mostly from being made to wear a mask !
Yes, I believe you can get fish antibiotics without a prescription. Here's just one place that came up when searched. https://www.valleyvet.com/c/pet-supplies/pet-antibiotics.html
A friend told me that.thats why i ended up calling the vet. I just felt a little strange doing it lol. But hes done it for a friend of mine before.
Best part.he was free.
Thank you. Any idea on human dose equivalent for fish antibiotics? I assume the aquatic environment yields different types of bacteria/infections.
The pills are exactly the same as human doses. Made in the same factory.
Cool. Thanks
Everyone should have oil of oregano on hand for any type of bacterial or fungal skin issue. Burns like a mofo but will absolutely resolve the problem. What you do is use 1 part oregano to 4 parts olive or coconut oil. Apply it once a day, every other day until healed. Do not think if some is good more is better! Give it a chance to work with your body without tipping your body over into purely pissed off. It is very potent. Don't say I didn't warn you about the burning.
You can use it on people, horses and dogs but not cats except as last resort. I've seen it work on abscesses, fungal nasties, a cyst that was right under the skin (red bump, opened up, cyst was easily squeezed out, bled a bit, healed perfectly) and a weird looking flat mole.
Edit: Do not use on a bad tooth! It seems to work by expelling whatever doesn't belong in the most efficient, quickest way. Which means that tooth will suddenly need to be extracted ASAP.
For an infected tooth use 1 part 30 ppm colloidal silver, 1 part tequila, 1 part water. Apply twice per day. It will be a slow and steady improvement. It has to be tequila not just any alcohol. Takes the med straight through tissues
Yeah, man! Oil of oregano is the very best. I've been using it for several years to heal things and everything you've said about it is right on. It is super powerful. Way more powerful than tea tree oil.
If it's a little too strong for whatever you're using it on you can dilute it with a bit of olive oil to get the right potency. (I generally use it at full potency.)
Two other great healing substances are dimethylsulfoxide and propolis glycolic. Look them up.
That literally stops tooth decay? I'm saving this whole thread, great little tidbits!
Me too. I have a “Health tips” folder because of all the great stuff on this site.
Hell yeah! Good people in here, very resourceful and always willing to help.
Bad tooth- Clove oil. *But you do not want this in your gums, and you want to use a small amount alternately , clove oil can be diluted into a mouthwash, or mixed into coconut oil and made in to a homemade toothpaste. Clove oil can be found in the non-prescription tooth med section. If anyone likes, I'll provide a remineralizing tooth paste recipe I have.
Yes, please share the recipe. Clove stopped working on my tooth. The silver mix got rid of the severe pain in a few days and the rest of the pain in about a week. I kept it up for another few days. Back to normal. It may need to come out eventually but isn't giving me any trouble now.
1 Part Food Grade diatomaceous earth (essentially ground seashells- but you do want food grade)
5 Parts Calcium Carbonate powder
3 parts baking soda
3 parts xylitol powder (or stevia)
3 -5 parts coconut oil
essential oils for flavor- peppermint, spearmint, clove, orange
I have more recipes, so if this doesn't work for you, just reply and I'll post one or two more.
Please Sir could I have some more * looks up with puppy dog eyes and crooked sad teeth* any recipes with out xylitol per chance?
You can substitute stevia with the same ratio, or you can check this list :
I recommend the stevia for those who cannot deal with the xylitol powder- xylitol is good for the gums, and so is stevia.
I’ll have to break down and grow some stevia. Thanks!
Very interesting. But what is considered a “part”, e.g., teaspoon, tablespoon, ounce? Thanks!
Personally, I use tablespoons, but any of the above will work as long as the ratios are kept the same.
Thanks!
Garlic too. You can buy the supplements. I used it years back when my dentist wanted me to take antibiotics before a procedure. I told him I would do garlic instead and he was supportive.
Is there a certain strength I should look to buy ? Thanks
You can buy the Now brand that is already 20% dilution in carrier oil, or you can get full strength and mix it yourself. Then you'll need an amber glass bottle w/ dropper
Good info. Thanks.
Liquid stitches for animals are also pretty much the same thing they use in ERs :) I know you don’t currently need stitches, but just a data point to keep in mind in case you ever need it!
u/name checks out
Welcome to the site sharer or interestingly tasty tidbits.
I’m not surprised. CVS is total lib! Makes employees report their own vax status, has black only groups, promotes racial justice & equity, CEO encouraged employees to vote for “change” before 2020 election.
It's crazy how worm meds for dogs and ivermectin fix so many issues in humans. It's almost as if they care about animals more than humans.
Animals don't pay bills, humans do. That's all you need to know for the reasoning behind this.
Also interesting that vets know damn well cutting cancer out can make it spread
I know. Ive known that animals use alot of the same meds. After reading about ivermectin and knowing its readily available.i now wonder what else can be found in tge animal stores.
Apparently fish antibiotics. Ill say theres truth to that as a trusted friend told me about before i read it here.
My veterinarian hooked me up with a 2 week supply. Looked at it and said its not that bad. Hes the one who told me that vets are human doctors before they go to vet school. I just felt weird about calling him.
Geez put baking soda paste on it to insure extraction of fiber materials. Then apply neosporin, polysporin or bacitracin and clean it and keep it dry a few days.
You just smear baking soda paste on the wound and let it stay on there for a while?
Soak it with hydrogen peroxide several times a day. Let it foam up.
Would have used a syringe needle as a scalpel/digging tool, then caked it with Bacitracin.
you Muricans don't know how good you have it, in my Country any veterinarian medicine that could remotely be applied to humans requires a prescription that is actually harder to get than human prescriptions since you need an animal to apply it to in addition to a vet to prescribe it...
Antibiotics for fish.
I built my own mini hospital. I'll stitch ya up.
Where you at? All the CVS near me just have it as a recommendation. Then again I'm here in AZ, with restrictions removed
MA. Restrictions have been removed but hospitals and doctors are still "following federal guidelines"
Is CVS owned by China?
Ethics complaint online maybe. I am in a similar yet dissimilar situation. I wonder what good my reporting them would do but no word back from the lawyer front line docs refereed me to.
Prayers for your situation and blessing to your vet who cares more about people than the ones that work with them.
I seem to remember a Bible verse about basically a good person treats their animals well. If they care for animals genuinely they are a great reference. You did a great job thinking outside the box to get your needs meet.
Not to be "that guy" but Vets just need a relevant undergrad and then they apply to "Vet School" as a post grad. They are no where near any human medical school
When you have an infection, clean well with soap and water, cleanse again with hydrogen peroxide half strength mixed with normal saline or boiled water (so 50/50), apply over the counter bacitracin ointment. If this is a local infection at the wound site, this should help. I am not a doctor, but have often used this. Mark the area of infection with a marker or pen and if the area spreads, seek medical attention. Anti-inflammatories, if you can take, help the pain and redness.
People that flunk out of vet school become Doctors
Wish I had known about these alternatives when my mother had throat cancer.
Good job bro. What they are doing is completely illegal because it violates the highest law of our land... the constitution
