This video was from 6 years ago and no rule was in place that said they couldn't play the national anthem, the announcer said on the intercom they were having technical difficulties and for them to just play it out, but the parents decided to sing instead so they could keep up with the tradition. The Title for the post is Fake News.
I was just going to say that! The team on left with black shirts didn’t come running back out when the parents started singing the anthem, but the other team on the right in the blue shirts came running back to the field.

this video always gives me chills, so nice of them to do this.

it's a great video, but it shouldn't be misrepresented as people standing up against a rule that doesn't exist.

It should happen like that at every game. Gave me a lump in my throat expecially when those player ran back out.
