Interesting... I wonder why my phone (and my wife's) was exempt from the EMS? Anybody know?
UPDATE: almost half an hour later and STILL nothing. Maybe the government has granted my long-term wish TO SIMPLY BE LEFT ALONE!!

Same...I checked my settings and all alerts are on, so I’m confused.
I just confirmed, mine were off. I set them to ON, and got the alert! Hopium is high.

You have to opt in to receive the test EAS alerts. It’s separate from the normal way you would receive EAS. Kind of like how you need to opt in to beta tests to test something. So most people did not get the alert.

Tried that number and it said, alerts disabled. Don’t know how to turn them on, on my iphone.

I had to turn on the ability to receive the notifications on my android phone.... And I think they're being done in stages.... Some people got theirs before I got mine...

From what I've read, it sounds like no one got the alert on the phone - it only went through on TV and radio?
