My question is - is Friday the best day to do this? Right before the weekend and it's late in the day on the east coast.
It'll definitely boost Trump's rally speech the next day, which will no doubt be heavily censored.
But I remember when the media tactic to bury a story was to release damaging news on a Friday night.
I wonder why they're not doing it either the day before, or in the morning... There has to be a rationale for this day/time selection.
Think mirror, if you don't want the media to release their fake news spin, you release on Friday. If you release early in the week, they spin all week.
Perhaps our stadiums will be filled with Trump Won flags this weekend? We can hope!

Usually a Friday is used to start wars - least impact on the stock market. It gives everyone time to rationalise and avoid panic.

John Fredericks asked this of the audit liaison, on his 4pm Real America’s Voice show, and the guy said they actually wanted to do it this past Monday but due to scheduling conflicts the only day was Friday. Not sure if I buy that, but doing it at market close and the day before Trump’s rally makes sense I guess.
