Mine was a flurry of articles on fluoride, and a personal look into the psychology of manipulative and emotionally abusive relationships. I realized the media uses the same dark triad tactics on us, and surreptitously lies all the time.
What inspired you to seek the truth? What made you no longer wish to bathe in the beautiful lie?
In the early 80s I worked as an executive secretary for for the mayor of New York City. The scales fell from my eyes.
GHWB being put in as Reagans VP. Knew he was a spook, then when they tried to off Reagan, it was clear the fix was in. I was starting college at the time after my service in the Marines. Been watching the incrementalism all these years eat away at our country. Semper Fi. Ready to see this whole damn thing go down. NCSWIC
Caught my third grade teacher lying about history even when I produced evidence. Pissed me right off. Quit taking any "authority figure" at face value.
You must have been a strong-willed student to go against a teacher in front of everyone.
Is it okay for me to say: “Thank God you encountered that guy!” - ?
Strong willed is probably one of the kindest phrases ever to describe me unless it's the "marching to the beat of his own drum" thing. I was never one to think or exist inside of their predefined boxes and didn't really care what anyone thought. When you aren't part of the "in crowd". and never will be, what's to lose? Very few teachers I didn't manage to piss off, but there were some good ones too.
To those who agree: Strong-willed and admirable. To those who disagree: Hardheaded and rash. You just need to find the right people. Think of the insults you’ve received in your life, and turn them around to see the truth! If you wouldn’t take their advice, why take their criticism? :)
In crowd is the worst - so surrounded, but so alone. Standing out takes courage, and you’ll never be alone. Your integrity and allegiance to yourself in code and principles, makes you a valuable individual surrounded by an abundance of possibilities. Where others are closed, a strong-willed individual has many doors open. You are not alone. We in this thread are with you!
Ufos then 911
I'm pretty sure I was born this way, by the time I was like 12 years old I was reading books by Jim Mars, as I got older and had to start dealing with real life stuff like college and then work I had periods where I was pretty dormant as far as looking into conspiracy stuff but ever since the Obama years I've been paying attention to all kinds of stuff going on with the New world order.
A predisposition for a strong sense of curiosity puts a lot of responsibility on your shoulders. Are you successful sharing your more palatable revelations with others in your life?
Same.
Searching for God as a teenager in a confusing liberal city. I turned to the internet to look for God, that led me on this path.
Doctors tried to kill me with opiates, soon realized the entire Rockefellar medical system was (((FAKE)))

A surgeon used the word barbaric. In response to the question: isn't there any other way, an alternative/more natural way to treat cancer, other than just cutting off body parts? He said "in the future we will look back on these practices as barbaric." He saved my life. That was 14 years ago. (I didn't get the surgery)
Thank you for sharing this encounter. It helps make me realize the power one person can have, assuming he wasn’t under angelic influence. God gave you the gift of life, and the surgeon made sure you would cherish it. Love!
I started working as a fin.analyst for wells fargo after uni. Looked into fed res and woke up.
Your experience there must come in handy. This last year in the stock market must have been a ride for you!
GamerGate. Made me realize that mainstream entertainment was pure indoctrination, and the MSM of all sectors is nothing but corporate shills
Nursing school
read this in high school ('67) n the only thing that stuck out for me then was how presidents r SELECTED (w wilson). since then i have never trusted gov
Theodore Harold White-The Making of the President 1960, whose combination of interviews, on the ground reporting, and vivid writing were developed in best-selling accounts of the 1964, 1968, 1972, and 1980 presidential elections
'73ish-read the fiction book Captains and the Kings: by Taylor Caldwell who wrote bout the 12-13 men ruling the world. for some reason this stuck w me.
soon after came the book Two Babylons by by Alexander Hislop, First published in 1853, “The Two Babylons” is a religious work by the Scottish theologian Alexander Hislop, a prominent leader of the Presbyterian Free Church of Scotland. Hislop argues in this influential work that the Catholic Church and the trappings of the papacy have their roots in the religion of ancient Babylon as described in the Bible. Hislop draws many parallels in his comparison of the traditions, holidays, and ceremonies of the Catholic Church throughout history to the practices of the religion founded by the Biblical king Nimrod and his wife Semiramis
i was well on my way to donning my 'tin hat' ;)
My first wake up call was when I found myself with a day to spare so I decided to find out what Global Warming was all about. I thought it was going to be easy but I soon realised that there were diverging views and I did not know who to trust. I ended up on the website of the British Royal Society. All the scientists statements there were obviously following a party line but some allowed you to read between the lines. You could tell that not everyone was actually buying into the official explanation. It was all downhill from there!
The next big wake up was the 2016 US presidential election. I had no interest in politics before that but then I saw the most powerful nation in the world putting a crook and an idiot on the short list. I investigated both candidates and discovered that one was a much worse crook than I could ever have suspected and that the other was nowhere near as stupid as the MSM kept telling me he was. It was also interesting to see how the MSM's views had changed overnight on the "escalator" day. Even Hillary had said in the past that it was a shame that people like Trump did not run for POTUS!
9/11 and sandy hook.
Waco, TX. I was horrified
And ruby ridge. And the okc bombing.

The 2nd plane flew over my head on 9/11. Fucked up day
So you saw the second plane hit?
9/11 and the sheer amount of problems around aviation and the official narrative?
1976 - I was 13 and we held a faux Pres, election at my middle school. Everyone including me was jazzed about Carter, and while speaking to my dad about it, he educated me on a few things. The one thing that left an impression was the forced relaxing of Home Loan requirements for lower income earners, Sounds all well and good on the surface to help folks out, but if they're not making enough to own a home, that does not change. When loans start defaulting, who's going to suffer the most? Those now without a home, and those that take the financial brunt of it. Not the banks or the government, but us, in the form of higher interest rates, more fees, less interest earned on savings... He taught me to dig. Look and see where the money goes. Read the fine print. if it sounds too good to be true, it is not true.
As soon as I heard GWB's rally to war speech, 9/11, I had a really freaky suspicion it was a planned event. I managed recovery efforts directly across the Hudson and watched the smoke rising for over a week, but had zero time to see/hear any media. When I heard his speech after returning home, to say I was incensed, is a major understatement!!! Still pissed!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately I was late. Fall of the Cabal made my noggin start goin.
Never too late! Without people like you waking up, where would we be? Your timing must have a deeper meaning for the development of your soul while we are here on Earth. Bless you for being humble and thoughtful enough to hear us out! It takes bravery to venture beyond the wall.
I've followed "conspiracy theories" for most of my life. It started when I had to write my first term paper in my senior year of high school as preparation for college. I decided to write mine on JFK's assassination. My assertion was that Lee Harvey Oswald wasn't the sole shooter and I was going to prove it. The teacher completely shot down my theory and sources, so I was forced to write the paper to prove only Oswald could have done it. I didn't believe a word of what I was writing, but I got an "A" on my paper. How ironic in hindsight!
In September of 2020 a like-minded fren, whom I've gone down many a rabbit hole with, told me he was going to research the voting machines that were being used in his area. He was all worked up about them...and I thought he was nuts. LOL! Nevertheless, I joined him on his journey. It didn't take long to dig up the dirt on Dominion and Smartmatic. We had the whole thing figured out long before the November election. I ended up taking it farther than he did and in the process I started looking into Q and stumbled upon GAW. The rest is history.
For me, the lightbulb went on when I came to realize that all of these various conspiracy events that I'd been reading about over the years, all originated from the same source. This is when my mind was blown.
As for bathing in the "beautiful lie," I don't think I ever really did this. I've always viewed things with a skeptical, and somewhat untrusting, eye.
Ndaa 2012 made me lose all trust in government and go full on ancap.
The sheikh being exfil'd from vegas during the mandalay bay incident convinced me of q.
Bernie Sanders’ first primary did it for me.

Built in Altruistic character. Keep fighting until the light shines or you die in battle.
Around 2010 or so, I started watching videos of Ron Paul, and he helped me get out of the establishment Republican/Democrat paradigm and realize that both parties supported bad policies.
Then, I closely followed the 2012 election on The Daily Paul, and had my worldview shattered by the amount of corruption in the Republican Party and Fox News (both of which played every dirty trick in the book to sabotage the Paul campaign).
So, essentially, Ron Paul was my initial red pill.
When 911 happened and I watched an incredible film called Zeitgeist. All the world is a stage.... Or "You are watching a movie". I couldn't look back and never trusted the media after that.
I know he gets dumped on here but Alex Jones “Loose change”
