Then she gave me a QR code to scan so I could pay my bill and do all the paperwork. At that point she hadn't taken my name and I was still in my truck so I just drove away.
I wound up getting a nasty infection in the stitches and had to have them redone at a local walk in clinic.

Nurses don't suture anyone, suturing is NOT done on a pickup tail gate, they know your name because you had to register and get a chart, and no hospital asks you to pay on the spot. Also no nurse is going to give you an answer of "none of that matters anymore" because they don't want to be sued.

Topically it is meant for rashes, skin infections, and the like. It will not be as effective as an anti-viral/anti-bacterial if not ingested.
