We had to borrow unis from you boys in the first Gulf War because we only have green camo. Our air force is 30 year old F-18 Hornets. Our navy is literally, 2 steps above some canoes and sling shots.
I would put life savings on this is to help support the hospitals / nursing homes with extra medical staff.
A very good military friend of mine is married to a fellow who is top brass at one of the bases in Western Canada. Obviously, I cannot disclose them / location. They have kept me in the loop though, and kept me grounded from some of the stuff I see about what's actually going on in Canada. This guy would know, FOR SURE.
They have gotten zero orders for any deployment other than supply chain / medical assist.
I would imagine that is the case. I'm pretty sure Ontario did something similar last year. I'll see if I can find that.
There's a strike for the health care workers union here in NB looming. Part of it is they've been fighting for a while ( pre covid ) with the province over more money for workers / more seats in University for training more workers. The other part is the vax mandates. They're doing their best to keep that out of the news, but I live in a small city and a GOOD 15-25% of the population here works at the 2 hospitals. Everyone knows everyone ; people talk.
That being said, it won't surprise me if NB makes the same move if this strike is a go.
Don’t get mad at me for saying this - but this voting for Mr. Handsome is a serious flaw among way too many women voters. I remember all through my childhood hearing this about women voters. It wasn’t about policies but about looks. I found this to be very disturbing and still do as you have pointed out that nothing has changed.
Oh yea... my mom's best friend is one of them lol. I was over there doing some work for her, and we like to banter politics for fun - we don't take anything personal. But... she went on about his hair for a good couple minutes. I just about peed myself laughing at her lol.

Some provincial EM's have time limits for use, and must be 're issued' if set period expires. That is all that was. Same exact thing happened here in NB where I am.
If it were to be any province, it would be Manitoba; Winnipeg lab incident, 2019.
They would claim some insane outbreak at that facility that was 1000x worse than covid. Would be caused by the DR's working on Covid, they would accidentally make a new super bad virus that got away from them.
If I can think of that in 10 seconds, they probably already have a similar scenario planned.
Its too late to be ready they were going house to house forcefully vaccinating everyone in Saskatchewan last week. Mostly on the reserves the women and children ran into the bush to hide from them.

It seems so crazy. Cases here have been dropping, but ICU numbers are high. We want from about 500 a day to 300 over the last week.
