And I feel better than I have in a long time. I would highly recommend trying it out for a month if you feel groggy or unmotivated to exercise.
I got the gummies because I hate pills, and I have to be careful not to eat two doses if I forget lol they are so good.
You might want to ad Vitamin K2 with the D3.
yeah my D.O. just put me on the vit K, said it is needed w the D.
K2 is suppose to keep the D3 from calcifying. If my memory serves me right. I started taking it after talking to my homeopathic Dr last year
Thanks for the link, I still trust my Doc
My doctor recommended getting vaccinated so..........
I am not 100 per cent sure that's what the Doc said but that sticks in my mind. She does know her stuff and I trust what she tells me to take. I am 71 and in good health. (Except maybe my long term memory) Maybe someone else can weigh in on this
My bottle of D3 5000 +K states the vitamin K complements the D3. I think I read somewhere on this site that vitamin K helps with the absorption of vitamin D.
The bottom line is we are both feeling better. God bless Fren
In general, I misunderstood what you posted, I had thought you were saying you get vitamin K from just standing in the sun loll.
In regards to the Vit K being needed to prevent some kind of calcification of Vit D,
As long as some one isn't taking mega doses* (50k+ units) daily then there is very little risk of calcification of Vit D. *mega doses of Vit D are to be taken once or twice weekly; not daily.
Depending on the person prescribing or suggesting vitamin regiment, they are usualy tailored to ones specific lifestyle, age, etc. That would explain why some people get told to take multiple things together and some don't.
TL;DR: Fat-Soluble Vitamins such as D and K are absorbed into the body and "stick around" for a while. As long as there is no daily mega dosing going on then the risk of calcification of any vitamin should be low but absolutely can happen if taken incorrectly.
Is 5000 units D3 daily a "mega" dosis?
No. I would not personally consider 5,000 units of Vitamin D a 'mega dose'. A mega dose is something along the lines of 25,000 units to 50,000 units and beyond.
Please note I am not a medical professional.
I have taken 50,000 units of Vit D before as a medical treatment to correct low Vitamin D levels confirmed by bloodwork. I was prescribed it by a Medical Doctor for my specific situation temporarily once a week for 6 months.
Ok, thanks.
Add in the quercitin & some nascent iodine.
It is starting to be for me, past two days I have felt the urge to go out on bike rides like I used to when I was a teen. I'm not "old" but still, since a knee injury in my mid 20's I stopped all sports. My knee hurt for years until I started doing the "knees over toes" exercises, but weight and being in overall bad shape has made exercise not fun at all.
The only thing I changed was the vitamins, and I have these urges out of nowhere. I did start to get more sick than ever in my life the past 4 years, I'm so happy I tried vitamin D, and I'm the guy who made fun of people for taking vitamins.
I think I was malnourished
Al the way back in 2020 (March-April?) when DJT mentioned HCQ, and the DS immediately came out against it... my spidey sense pinged.
At the time, the uncommon wisdom was to take a cocktail of HCQ, Zinc, and Z-pack, for to treat the coof, but the DS shut down the prescribing HCQ. That is how I knew it was the answer. I learned to do the EXACT opposite of what any federal agency recommends back when FEMA said all NO residents should seek shelter in the SuperDome.
So I did a lil research and determined what the active ingredient was in each of those components. Cant remember what or where exactly... but here is what I started taking daily and have been taking daily now every day since then;
Approx July of 2020, there started to be noise about VitC, VitD3 and Quercetin. So I ordered and added a Quercetin Supplement to my daily regimen, and started taking a high dose multivitamin for the D & C. I also added in a glass of red wine (flavinoid ie Quercetin) and started spending a minimum of 15 minutes every day (even winter and cloudy days) sitting with my face pointed directly at the sun (eyes closed) for the D3. (great time to pray or in my case meditate).
Because Im stubborn and bull-headed, in an effort to keep my little self-subject medical experiment as non-corrupted as possibe, I have adamently refused to be masked, EVER, and I have not been vaxxed or let anyone stick a potential contaminate up my nose on a cotton swab, 'tested'.
Not only have I not gotten covid, I havent gotten anything. Im 53 now, and have a history of catching every damn cold at least 2-3 per year, since i was in grade school, and slogging my way through upper respiratory infections ever fall and spring... but... I have not experienced even one day of cold or flu symptoms since that day I swallowed that first nasty drink of Tonic Water.
You will NEVER convince me that we have not been lied to by the medical industry forever about virus protection and treatment. I have been so moved by this experience that Ive started studying natural (homeopathic) medicine as a hobby, started growing over 30 of my own herbs, 'weeds' and flowers, and even started studying what the old English witches were doing that got them hanged and burned by their governments for going against the leach-craft and vexation-vapors 'science' of their day.
Yeah, we are being poisoned on purpose. It's obvious now.
Healthy body heals itself..
Let's assume that you're not part of the VAST MAJORITY of americans who spend all their time inside and most of their time sitting on their ass, while eating shit food.
Our modern life does not give us the time we need outside to get enough Vitamin D. Vitamin D helps a lot of body processes. Nobody gets enough of it. If someone tells you they are active and get enough sunlight, they are either lying or they have a job working outside.
Vitamin C is an anioxidant. Antioxidants are very important, oxygen is actually bad. We need it to survive. Things get oxidized and they do damage. Antioxidants help clean these up. Don't focus on only Vitamin C, get ALL of the antioxidants. Nutrition and supplementation IS NOT like medication, having your body with what it needs (the nutrients) helps your body work better. Eat nutritious food and supplement the rest. Do it regularly, IT IS NOT MEDICATION IT IS SUPPLEMENTATION so you need it regularly, not intermittently.
Zinc is like the rest but also helps prevent virus replication through binding to certain receptors, helps your T production (if you're fat at all, your body fat is working against you in that it converts T to estrogren, zinc can help mitigate that until you decide to stop overeating and sitting on your ass) and various other functions.
OP has it right folks but understand what you're doing.
Supplements are not medication, you need to take them regularly. They don't cure or fix anything, they give your body what it needs to do it's functions better. If you stop taking them, you stop gaining that help. You can get that nutrition from food, if your food doesn't all come from boxes and cans.
Supplements are great but they're NOTHING compared to the real thing. If you need vitamin D, go outside. It's free, more effective, and you get plenty of fresh air. It'll reduce stress and give a general positive feeling, which also has awesome benefits to your immune system and health.
When supplementing, understand what vitamins and minerals need to be absorbed correctly. Vitamin D supplements don't do shit if you're not getting enough calcium. Calcium and Vitamin D need each other to be used by the body.
Don't trust memes and posts online, many here claim to research. Prove you can research rather than search for a confirmation of your bias.
I was at 245lb @ 5'11" a year ago, got it down to 215lb and have not been able to get it lower, I get "sick" when I reach 200 and start sleeping and eating like crazy. I hope this stuff helps me break through 200 without crashing this time.
But I feel so good it's amazing, I must have been doing something really wrong before.
But yeah, off my ass I go!
I really appreciate you taking your time and further explaining this, I am just getting my feet wet here and trying it out.
Makes 1000% sense that my T count would be higher now, that's exactly how I feel.
I've stopped fast food almost completely, lowered sugar consumption to almost zero, but that wasn't enough, it's 100% the vitamins.
I drink a lot of milk, like 2 glasses a day, lots of liver sausage and lentils/beans, rice, my diet is pretty good now I think, I DEFNITELY do not get enough sunlight, went on a bike ride today, going on a bike ride tomorrow, so I'm going to start getting some sun.
I'm right now working from home so it's possible for me. It must be the higher T count from Zinc, because I simply want to do more, hopefully it will be exponential when I start getting back into shape and getting some respectable legs like I used to have, which it looks like it's a good way to get more T count.
6 months for me. Double dose of d and c alternating weeks. Along with quercitin daily
Watched a recent episode of Diamond and Silk with Dr. Ardis as their guests. In addition to Zolenko's protocol (of Vit C, D, Zinc and Quercetin) Dr. Ardis also recommended magnesium (to protect cellular wall), apple pectin, selenium (small amount mcg) and iodine. He has these posted on his website. He also mentioned Wormwood as a natural substitute for Ivermectin when unavailable.
Dr. Ardis is really big on apple pectin. Does anyone have experience with it?
I've been doing the same thing, plus quercetin.
Still feel as crappy as usual, but at least my Mom doesn't bug me about getting the vax the way she used to. (Though part is my wife's intervention).
I think I've been eating too much trash for too long, hope you find something that works for you!
If you're an adult of regulars size, you'd probably be just fine eating enough gummies per day to equal 5-10,000 IU/ day. So don't sweat it about taking some extra gummies
