Well it happened to me... my kid went into college as a Conservative and came out a Liberal. It sucks that we paid full freight for her college education

She has been on her own dime since she got out of college. She has a good paying job and she lives in a Condo across the country from us.

And that's just the free maket showing that a lot of company's prefer educated workers who went to college. A lot of jobs require the years of University just in order to functionality do the job.
Nah.most of those jobs you could learn as you go but if it makes you feel better about yourself for your debt slavery just keep telling yourself that.
That’s also because of commies. Since the 1971 SC ruling of Griggs vs Duke Power, companies are no longer allowed to hire based on aptitude/ IQ tests. So employers have to look for proxies, such as having a degree from a college that required aptitude test scores. All of a sudden, jobs whose performance has little to do with college education required a degree, and the college cartel was greatly empowered.

Universities and colleges need to be completely defunded. Just in California, the UC schools get millions every year from the state, despite charging $30k+ a year for tuition. To teach what? And then when you go to a UC school, it's all foreign nationals walking around, who paid even more! Why should tax payer money finance these brainwashing facilities? Does the government ever get that money back?
And you'll hear leftists say the UC schools fund many scientific breakthroughs and innovations. that's great, now pay us back for all of this! this should be financing housing for the homeless and education for inner city school children, but no, it goes straight to the pocket books of the board members and their pet projects.
I’ve met plenty of people who worked hard to pay off a piece of paper TOTALLY UNRELATED to what they became passionate about and ultimately, successful at. Cannot even imagine what kind of testing they use to “advise” hs grads about where to go to college/what to study. Colleges have MILLIONS to market with yet “fee” students to extremes! Best college? The School of Life majoring in Common Sense with a minor in Experience.
