"is suing the actor, the movie production company and others for assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress and deliberate infliction of harm. "
I think there's a word for that... what was it? Hmmm.
It's a law suit, not a civil case. Only the DA can press charges for murder. The civil suit has to take a different direction, relying on tort law rather than criminal. Establishing harm is necessary to 1) claim standing to sue and 2) to claim damages.
If we're supposed to be patriots we need to know at least the basic about how our justice system works.
I guarantee you the article would have found a way to work the term "murder" in if Baldwin held right-leaning political views, regardless of the details of the lawsuit.
It's a softly written piece, not for the purposes of legal accuracy, but because the news media is corrupt beyond belief.
It was a general observation in response to what he said, I wasn't making any comment on how our justice system works. Worded differently: 'The powers that be' always use very specific language in order to manipulate a certain emotional response from people, aka they play the language game, and that's what I was commenting about. Your reply is better suited as a direct response to the person I replied to
Murder in broad daylight in front of witnesses set up specifically to give reasonable doubt. The victim was an undercover journalist, fyi. Guess what her focus was?
All the claims that she was working on a documentary about Hollywood pedophilia seem to be a larp. No real evidence other than a meme style page with the claim but no real article attached
I read somewhere that Baldwin was ranting about politics when he shot her, not filming his movie. In other words he was method acting, get angry then read the angry part of the script. It's also why I don't trust the pictures the news ran of him doubled over looking sick, how can you trust someone who can cry on cue, puke on cue?
"Rust" script supervisor Mamie Mitchell sued Alec Baldwin and others who worked on the movie set on Wednesday, alleging
the movie script never required the actor to fire the shot that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
"Alec Baldwin intentionally, without just cause or excuse, cocked and fired the loaded gun even though the upcoming scene to be filmed did not call for the cocking and firing of a firearm," the lawsuit alleges.
I suppose what goes around, comes around. One must wonder how exactly this transpired. And who loaded the gun and who knew it was loaded. I wonder if osha should start checking out movie film sites?
Yeah I get the connection to the Clintons but I don't get it either.
Something just doesn't sit right about a "set her up with an attorney who'll make sure justice isn't done" theory. Though that could be partially right for sure.

Oh, yeah. Murder.
They always play the language game

Law suits are civil cases, murder is a criminal case. Think you got that turned around there...

Yes, law pede. That’s correct.

Good. Hope she wins.
Isn't Gloria friends with the Clinton's as well? Guy
She needs an order of protection against her attorney....
Figured Bang Bang Baldwin was just being his typical asshole self. Would not doubt that he was having a tantrum.

The more I read the more I'm convinced that in order to make it in the entertainment industry, most have to be either sociopathic or psychopathic.
Yeah, Bang Bang bending over was because he was worried about himself not about the woman he killed nor the man he injured. .
Somebody bout to get SethRich’d

According to the lawsuit, script supervisor Mamie Mitchell was standing four feet away when Baldwin fired the Colt .45 revolver and suffered injuries herself. https://www.insider.com/rust-lawsuit-says-alec-baldwin-never-was-supposed-to-fire-gun-2021-11
If she can’t prove it was intentional, then what? She loses her case!
Proof is not required in civil court, just a preponderance of evidence.
Still no charges filed?

Of course
What’s the play here?
