I live in a liberal place, and I've always worn a mask into my local grocery store. Today was the day I decided to go in maskless and see the reaction. I was definitely nervous at first, but after no immediate confrontation was made, I relaxed a bit and went on my way shopping. When it was checkout time, I was asked by a different cashier if I had a mask to which I replied 'no'. He had a dismayed look and went and grabbed one from a box for me. I said, 'Did you ever read the back of that box? It states specifically on there that these do not protect you from coronavirus.' He just kinda shook his head and went back to his register.
As my guy is ringing me up, I state loudly, 'You know what I read the other day? I read that Pfizer made $35 Billion in the 3rd quarter alone. Isn't that crazy?!?' Now mind you, I've been to this cashier many times over the last couple years and barely exchanged more than a few words with him, so it definitely caught him by surprise. After he said a few words back and tried to defend them saying they make more than just a vaccine I said, 'Well did you, they paid the biggest fines in court? They've falsified data for their studies and were also fined for paying off doctors to use their product. Google it, it's something to consider'.
As I'm gathering my belongings and getting ready for checkout, a woman at a different cashier yells at me, 'Well you should wear your mask above your nose so you protect all of us'. I said, 'These masks don't protect you from coronavirus. The virus is 1 microscopic unit, and these masks only protect you from 3 units or bigger!' At this point, some other employee started yelling at me to leave and just walk to the door. As I'm leaving, I just start saying, 'Freedom of thought is ok, it's really ok!'
It felt liberating to finally break out and not just be another node perpetuating this evil system. I've worn things before as to not rock the boat, especially since my spouse is a firm believer in the opposite, but I've reached a point where I can no longer keep up this charade.
So to get to my point, I plan on not wearing a mask ever again. I anticipate in the future, I'll most likely be denied entrance there for not wearing a mask. My question is, do I have a legal case if I'm refused service there? Even though I don't have underlying health reasons for not wearing a mask, is there discriminatory grounds I can fight them on? I've had enough sitting idly by, so I'm planning on pushing the envelope and if I have to take a fight in court then I'll undertake it. Any advice?
TLDR: Refused to wear mask, got asked to put one on. Dropped some red pills, but think I'll be refused service in future if I don't wear mask, is there a legal case I can make against them?
My best tactic is to just ignore them. That will piss them off to not get a reaction.
I live in Texas and covid has been over for almost a year now lol
Or just troll and stare at them while hand signaling you're deaf lol
They can deny you service for not wearing a mask. As you have inalienable rights to not be forced to do something to your body that can harm or kill you (masks can cause pneumonia due to bacteria that thrive in the environment of a mask) them denying you service for not wearing a mask is coercion to self harm. Since you have to eat, it is possibly a direct assault on your person, blackmail, extortion and racketeering.
To say that they can deny you service is the same as saying you can bring an AR15 and start shooting up the place. Both are illegal, both are technically acts of war (one sovereign entity acting violently toward another), which carry severe penalties.
So yes, they can, but its unconstitutional (unlawful), against the law (illegal) and is grounds for a substantial law suit.
Since these actions are by mandate (dictate), which is really a dictatorial chain, everyone is liable in such a violation of your inalienable rights.. This includes the mask cop trying to enforce the dictate, their managers that encourage the behavior, the corporate bosses that tell the managers to do so, and the corporation itself. This suit could possible even include those in government that encourage the corporate leaders to enforce it. Since there is substantial evidence to support this dictatorial chain, pretty much everyone is fucked if they deny you food if you don't comply.
In some cases these crimes carry the death penalty. Since the agents of the corporation can also be charged with crimes, it's probably not the best idea for them to try to coerce you to harm in such a potentially lethal manner.
Just respond to them like Obozo's sign language interpreter and be on your merry way.
Im in Canuckistan and the medical excemption thing became such an issue its now told over the intercom in stores to not bother people without masks because its against the law. If its like this in Canada you shouldnt have any issues in the US.
Over the intercom in what store?
The intercome of Real Canadian Superstore. I hate that they have to come in every 10 minutes to tell the population to be good, but its nice to hear the medical excemption thing.
Agreed. It's a good thing. More businesses need to openly acknowledge exemptions. Gives people courage to not mask and dampens the enthusiasm of covid Karens..
"I don't have money for a mask" They try to hand a free mask to you. "Did you wash and sanatize your hands, and apply sterile gloves without contaminating them before handleing that mask?" No "Then its not sterile and not safe to wear."
I dont think an employee is gonna go to the bathroom, wash their hands, go find gloves, find someone with equally clean hands to apply them steriley like a surgeon and then handle your mask properly by the ear strings. If they take any shortcuts you just say the mask isnt sterile because they touched the face covering part, or touched the outside of their gloves before putting them on.
I dont believe the fake covid science about the masks, but they all said these precautions had to be taken for a mask to work properly, maybe this method will show them what proper biohazard handling is like, and why its ridiculous to think something you shove in a sweaty pocket all day is gonna help.
Absolutely. The whole lack of awareness about biohazardous handling and disposal is a huge tell. As is the complete absence of any criteria for masks. The only true criteria is that it cover your face like you are a slave.
Exactly, the same person who is legitimately scared to take off their mask in the store will pick one up off the ground and throw it away... I think in 1984 they called this double think.
If people say anything to me, I just say, "I don't wear masks." No one says anything anymore though, because I live in Florida.
What state is this? Seems really backwards at this point in time. In my opinion, they're slave masks and I refuse to wear one.
Clark County (Vegas) in Nevada is under a full on mask mandate until 2022....
I want Sisolsk to go to prison. He’s a low rent Mitch McConnell with his wife...
I wore a mask for a few days then tossed it. I've had so many people freak the fuck out but the second I tell them to fuck off they fuck off. However, I am a man and from this post I suspect you are a woman and they certainly get tougher on women.
You’re giving courage to someone within earshot, I believe. I’m so happy to hear that you stood up and continued to stand when the crowd ganged up on you. You put the truth out there and somewhere down the line this will be the spark that breaks this spell for at least one person. Keep it up, Zerbert1420!
You could show them the freely available videos of the masks being made in squalid Indian sweatshops, and the seas of them floating in the oceans.
The few times I'm asked I just assertively, head held high say "I'm exempt thanks" and carry on walking.
you are too polite, I tell them to fuck off or to go fuck themselves with a smile.
Hahah welcome to the club of the intelligent. I was at a store the other week and some young bitchy liberal retard would not ring me in because "i dont feel safe". I started laughing and asked what her problem was. No Mask. she told me to go to customer service to which I said the line is long, I would wait here. she looked confused as the line kept getting longer. After a few minutes I put the diaper on my chin. It made her happy, I tapped my card and took off the mask and laid it on the counter.
Basically, tell them this. I have a health condition (ends there they can ask you about it you don’t have to answer)
If they won’t let you shop without a mask, and want to kick you out, they are discriminating.
Hand the store manager your shopping list and tell them A my condition prevents me from using tech easily and ordering through your online source and B you will be waiting safely in your vehicle while someone gathers your contents in a timely manner, with minimal handling of product to keep the germs off. Then give him a wink so he knows your full of shit but can’t prove it.
Curbside is reasonable accommodation, if not it’s discrimination and refusal to service.
Just wanna let you know I am proud of you 👏🏻
Next time you KNOW you will get thrown out, load your cart up with some of that high dollar over inflated beef. That’ll teach who’s boss.
Well done. You get used to the possibilities of no service and start saying loud things like “this won’t end unless we all end it!” As they take your cart from you. It gets kinda fun. But some days I just want to get me shopping done and my errands done, so you’ve got to gird your loins. But I think that every time people see others without a mask...the BS starts to crack a bit. So I think it’s important for reaching a critical Mass. Good job!
Showing them their absurdity gets the message across quicker. Show them your ring or wrist band (or 'something') and tell them it gives you magical protection from from corona virus. When they challenge you and say that doesn't stop 'COVID', point at them and tell them it works better than their mask. So F* off.
I actually wore a mask on the back of my head for a while last year and when people asked I told them the virus was getting smart and going in through the back, and that they should wear their mask properly to protect from it.
It’s so liberating. Good for you 🥳
Think about this, I go to a grocery store, where 70-80% wear a mask, it isn't even mandated and no signage at the store. I have never worn a mask and go without all the time. I have gotten over any nervousness about confrontation. I am guessing you have too. But we need the middle of the road to wake up and take the mask off. It takes a lot of courage to do, as they have gotten into the habit of it and feel like they are breaking the rules to take it off.
I don't care how late they are to the party, we need them at this party.
What state do you live in? That probably makes a difference.
IMHO, you do not have a case. I see your situation as no different with such signs as:"no shoes, no shirt, no service". A merchant can deny service, pretty much for any reason except protected class exceptions like race, religion.
Peggy Hall - religious exemption:
My creator gave me lungs and an immune system and you can't deny my right to breathe freely as my creator intended.

lol idk the exact terms, but what came to me in the moment. You get the gist
I'd like to know the answer to your question also. I anticipate this becoming an issue over the holidays myself.
My hubby and I went to Abba eyecare on Saturday morning for him to get his eyes tested for cataracts which unfortunately he does have but supposedly not too bad, and I went to look at glass frames. As we enter the building my husband very much embarrasses me pulled out his mask and put it on I just walked in. as he want to sign in at the front desk the receptionist said to me with her mask on “honey do you have a mask?” I said no, she picked up her box of little blue masks and handed them to me and she said “would you like one?” And I said no but I’ll take one. so I carried it around the store with me and nobody in there asked me to put it on which if they had asked me I wouldn’t of done. But as I was trying on the frames they had boxes set all over the place that said “please put used frames in these boxes to be cleaned for our other customers”. I purposely filled up every single box with about 20 frames. It felt great!!!!
Going back under the mask mandate (in CNY) but being out over the weekend it was pretty much business as usual. SInce people are all concerned about social distancing and masking up again, I can't wait for it to not affect the usual gaggle about the milk cooler.
