I think you are reading too much fren. If you sort that site by deaths per million, you will see New York and New Jersey are both quite high. Florida is 9th and Texas is 29th. So there is no correlation between Conservative population and death rate.

This is fudging the numbers.

It seems there may be very little direct negative correlation between died-with-COVID death rates and clot shot rates, but from what I’ve noticed, deaths of all types seem to be higher in highly-vaccinated states and countries around the world; not a good trend.
Remember that HOW they collect and report these data is important. I highly doubt there is stringent consistency or any real methodology from state to state, or country to country. And when data collection methods change, do you think they will retroactively change those high numbers? Probably not.
Many are being duped with statistics, and that makes me sad.
