I have asked this question since the first mask mandates in my country. None of the sheep in my circle of interest seem to understand the implications.

I'm thinking for the same reason it's okay to let 10's of thousands of unvaxxed illegal aliens invade and swarm the country with no 'mandate'. DOES THIS MAKE SENSE TO ANY ONE?? Went to a Dunkin drive thru to pick up a beverage for my niece, and the workers there had gloves on and masks, while touching the cash register, their masks, the counter, money, their hair, scratching their scalp, food, etc without changing gloves or mask. I laughed.

Yep, this is one of the major tells that gives the game away. I was once designing software for a bio-hazard disposal company in San Francisco. "Go-Ware" did everything from dispatching and tracking trucks to weighing the waste they gathered. During the inception I spent an entire day riding in a truck picking up bio-waste in and around the city (do you have any idea how many plastic surgery outlets there are in SF?).

The waste had to be properly contained, gathered according to protocol, logged, transported to the waste site safely, and finally incinerated. It was not as toss and forget operation.

As someone who was on my unit's chem/bio/hazmat team for a couple years while in the Army, I have brought up this exact issue in a school board meeting and to our city council at the beginning when they tried to bring in mask mandate policies.

They both of course could and would never answer such questions however because they know, like I did, that the PPE they wanted people to wear were not even proper PPE in the first place and they also couldnt dare waste money on correct disposal (and training for handling of) equipment when they werent even requiring proper PPE and even anyone to facilitate classes/lessons on proper donning and doffing measures.
