Go to mom and pop health food/related stores because places like that always have it available. Go to the children's medicine section, which has the cold/flu meds, diapers, q-tips, baby wipes, etc. Get the Zinc there. I bought a bottle of 'children's cold & cough liquid, it's comes with a squeeze dropper. The liquid contains Zinc, Vit D-3, Cough Serum, etc.
Liquid forms of these minerals/vitamins is more effective then pill or tablet form. Only 25% of pill form is actually absorbed into the body. Whereas 70% of liquid form is absorbed.

Here in my part of Canada, zinc seems to be readily available. That wasn't the case early last year when I could only get it on line.

Don't forget, you can use botanical supplements for zinc and other healthy things too!
Elder flowers and chaga mushrooms are high in zinc, among other healthy things, and ginkgo and nettle leaf are high in quercetin content.
