It feels like glass shards are poking through your skin, let alone the malaise/fatigue, sleeplessness, and even low fever. Nobody who has had shingles would describe it as "really not that bad." I would never take the shingles "vaccine" that exists but everything I can do to maintain my body, I do it, with avoiding shingles being one of my motivators for why i do what i do. Not the highest reason on the list but it definitely makes the list.
