Concur. But, here's the deal I don't think I know anyone - except a handful of people that can do solid risk assesment (and that's because I've specifically sought them out). Very very few seem to have the overall picture down. I don't think I have the overall picture down. At all.

Yes, this cyclical bullshit is ridiculous. People continue to trust authority simply because it's authority. It's our Achilles heel. The only way that would work is if we were in a world of a much higher consciousness where the mere idea of harming another due to selfish motives, isn't even comprehendible - except for studying history.
People have no idea what kind of world we should be living in right now. "They" have withheld so much to keep us pre-occupied and productive. Life should be something we love, not hate or dread. This isn't the way, people.

You are so correct @VetforTrump My mom used to bring this up when we would have convos. She was a recovering alcoholic who remained sober for 38+ years when she died 2 years ago. Her wisdom was extraordinary culled from her recovery from addiction. False Evidence Appearing Real Think about that. We are being given false evidence that appears real to makes us submit. It is a bit of a mystery to me why so many people are not willing to question what is going on around them. I think at root the enemy in the room is fear. This is not to get political because I think we are at a point where this transcends the idea of what we have been raised to believe about our political systems (R vs. D) but I find a great irony that the Ds do not reference FDR in this crisis, specifically one of his best known quotes about having nothing to fear but fear itself. Because it is true and I have to conclude they don't want you to remember that.
Victor Davis Hanson made an interesting observation not too long ago in a podcast that in many ways, what we are seeing is the Zoom class fighting over the scraps of capitalism. (I really love his historical perspective; if you have never listened to him, definitely check out his website.) But in terms of why people are having cognitive dissonance with regards to all that is happening, I think he's onto something. Just go to LinkedIn these days. There was the story yesterday about Dimon/Chase and how he said they are threatening to fire the unvaxxed and the cheerleading made me want to vomit. (Although I believe LI has its own bots at this point to play on the fears of the Zoom class.) Because I have noticed when I can stomach it that the people that go all in are the ones with good jobs - jobs they don't want to lose because of not just money, but the class and prestige/power that come with it. It reminds me of a book that came out maybe 15-20 years ago about the over production of elites. - the big push to send every child to college because otherwise they would be a loser and you don't want to be a loser do you? I can't remember the title but it was somewhat controversial at the time.

This is something I'm struggling with the last month since i came into a physical fight at a test center for handing out fliers. I defended myself vs a much large man twice my size but since everyone hated me for disturbing their mass psychosis including the police that charged me with violent behavior because they were gonna get me one way or another.
So the question i have to ask myself? Why should i keep fighting for a degenerative, brainwashed population whom are really showing their colors. So many horrible stories on what these lowlife scumbags has done to people who refuse to participate in their delusion. I'm actually in a bit of a personal crisis now dealing with these issues almost no good exist anymore.
