Somethings up here. I never heard of the guy, and I honestly thought it was a band at first.
He doesn't seem to be particularly political, supporting Romney, then Trump (opposites on the political spectrum). I don't see any evidence he's a pedo or part of [them]. But I don't see any evidence he's a part of us, either. TF?
Romney liked him, Trump liked him, but Biden doesn’t like him and has made that clear.
Lol
You never heard of the guy, I get that. However, "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" is likely a song you know at least some of the words to and if you don't, you should. It's classic. Cynical but funny. And very accurate to how things were at the time--before the complete degradation of maintaining some sense of being respectful of one's self by not sleeping with just whoever. In other words, before the Tinder toilet started sucking people down.
I love Meatloaf's "Bat Out of Hell" album. Great road trip music. I also remember Meatloaf for his cameo in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." That movie was so over the top when it came out on the whole transvestite thing; it's ironic that now it seems mild compared to the crap we're seeing now like Storytime with Drag Queens. Unbelievable. They were playing the long game. Wasn't obvious until we could look back at it.
He was on an episode of Celebrity Apprentice
Yup... in Season 11, back when Donald Trump hosted the show. There was one particular moment when Meat Loaf went viral for having an epic meltdown.
Just maybe Trump new him well enough to say this?

Best rendition I've ever heard
Nice. I didn't know he could really sing. He can hit those high notes.
he had a great set of lungs and vocal chords.
That was in the old Three Rivers Stadium.
He was a huge rock star back in the '80s and '90s. MTv Videos, albums, singles, and movies, especially The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Great music, the likes of which we don't get nowadays. Look for Bat out of Hell or "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" and enjoy some fantastic old-school high-energy rock music made by people with real talent.
And yes, he and Trump were friends.
This is why.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C11MzbEcHlw
Also Trump knew him and he was on Celebrity Apprentice. Its possible MeatLoaf was just his friend.

Trump admired his sheer talent and honesty. In a way they were Friends, yeah.
He IS/WAS a Band, oh yeah, no matter who played with him he was the band. Meatloaf didn't just make songs he wrote and performed each one as an opus or anthem. His talent was rare, perhaps not quite unique but almost so. Trump appreciated his stature, talents, his Humanity.
Meatloaf was a Good Boy who wrote Bad songs, and he did it very very well. He wasn't just edgy he was inspired, everything he did was over-amped and outrageous, yet each note was perfect. It isn't hard to imagine Trump seeing himself there. They even shared a bit of the same sort of ego, for my nickel.
If you've never become familiar with him, and you like Rock, give him a listen. His DVD with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is perhaps the best live recording ever, worth every penny if you can find it. Turn it up...
Meatloaf's creativity was off the charts, but he stayed based his whole life. Once when he was interviewing female singers for a tour one Lady sang and then she thought she had bombed and was outside in the parking lot being upset. She saw the tour bus and went over there and was beating up the bus, because she wanted the gig. Meatloaf walked over there and told her when she was through trashing the bus would she please come back inside because he wanted to work with her- she did the tour, she's in this video.

His performance was a disaster that year, and they later tried to come up with excuses like he had a cold or something.
Honestly, I wonder if some sort of comms were surrounding this event.
It stuck out in my mind about him though, so I thought I'd share.
No. My mom was rocking his vinyl records in the 80's. This is what I consider one of the greatest musical performances and story telling in all of music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C11MzbEcHlw
yep. That played before every showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Good times.
Never heard of him?
Rocky Horror Picture Show....those were the times, gettin' lit and going to The Midnight Movie!
I have not seen this msg. Can you please post a link ?
Meatloaf was on Celebrity Apprentice and was a funny, kind man. Maybe President Trump considered him a friend
Meatloaf was also the lead vocalist in Ted Nugent's 1976 album "Free For All":
