Saw this on CFP earlier. Her near salty tears would be more enjoyable if these same retards had not created parametrically linked horrors. They shutdown new nuke plants for 40 years, the solution to current grid woes. Then they pushed for renewables which are both a visual and environmental blight that only supply a few % of grid need. The rest? Suppied by diesel, coal, or natural gas running the power plants. You know, it's almost like this was gamed out somewhere long before it was put into play...
The above quagmire will not solve any problem but gave retards more buzzwords about how they're helping the planet, light-rail. Imagine if that money had been invested in the grid and charging stations? But doing so would have required hard decisions on where the upgrade would get its power which leads to that which must not be named, nuclear.
True, but there are multiple ways to generate electricity.
How many ways are there to create gasoline?
Compare the number of moving parts in a ICE vs an EV, include the transmission
Compare the maintenance schedule, and expected motor life
What is on the road, battery technology wise, is not the same thing that is going to be on the road in 2-3 years. Everything is changing, as it was intended. What was once dirty - is becoming clean. Compare Coal fired power plants of the 1950's to the Coal plants in use today.
Are they the perfect solution to everyone, today? Nope
But, for us old geezers who remember when microwaves were thousands of dollars, and quickly heated hotdogs and cupcakes in the store demo - what tomorrow holds will be amazing.
I honestly don't know whether there are multiple ways to generate gasoline. Aren't people skeptical about it deriving from dinosaur fossils? What's the cost, including environmental, of batteries?
Motor life? I don't think we have a handle on the electrical motor life. The combustion engine has shown very good motor life. If you take care of it, and it was designed well, decades, maybe even centuries. I would much rather depend on a mechanical engine as opposed to one which requires a bunch of chips. Think about your electric vehicle trying to operate when it encounters a blue screen. At that point it's pretty much a paper weight. And I'll admit that I'm assuming that most, if not all, electric vehicles these days are very dependent on on-board computers, more so than non-electric vehicles though even non-electric vehicles these days are probably pretty dependent on on-board computers.
I admit I would like a little EV if I lived in a dense city, but also keeping my gas car just in case. When SHTF, fire > electricity. But the fact that they want to force people in rural or completely undeveloped areas all around the globe to drive EVs too shows that they intend to take cars and automobiles away from the masses and keep them for the elites and the Outer Party that serves them.
Hybrids more versatile than a straight EV because you aren't at the mercy of finding a charging station like the idiot in the vid. Hybrid best of both worlds, most efficient in traffic & city speeds plus pollution kept low. IC engine when you can use it most efficiently on open road. Now, if someone would make a diesel hybrid I might buy one.
I’m with you. If you have solar panels on your roof and have enough excess power to charge a little around town vehicle that’s awesome. I’m waiting for better battery technology before I’ll pull the trigger on one but I’d love to have a Tesla and a truck. It just makes sense for a contingency plan. For me it boils down to getting the hell off the grid and being insulated from potential fuckery from China.
Hydrogen fuel storage with a fuel cell motor. It's way more efficient and cost effective than lithium ion batteries.
Furthermore natural gas is plentiful and can be generated efficiently. But actual clean energy solutions are banned by the idiots in urban left holes. Heck CA refuses to buy hydroelectric power from the pacific northwest, because that's considered unclean.
The real purpose of their laws and mandates is to enslave the masses by creating artificial shortages. It's a standard tactic for communists.
There are 2 trillion barrels of oil in the Colorado Rockies. Thats more oil than all the worlds proven reserves and all the oil ever used combined.
Lithium mining is the dirtiest mining in the world.
Batteries suck and will always suck for something like a car. They cost as much as a new vehicle when they need to be replaced in 2 or 3 years. They are unreliable in cold weather and I would hate to caught in a snow storm like recently happened in Virginia and DC and have my battery run dry.
They are unrecyclable and toxic and require a tremendous amount of space to dispose of.
Wind and solar are just as stupid. And speaking of requiring a tremoendous amount of space to dispose of, those big turbines in wind farms have a useable life of around 20 years. Then what? There is almost no recyclable parts. They bury them in Texas, I think it is. Ive seen the pics. Miles long scar in the earth just for the carbon fiber plastic blades.
I saw a story about a school that bought a turbine to supply its power. It didnt even pay for itself before it died and the school is saddled with a ton of debt and hooked back up to the grid. In fact I dont believe any wind turbine has ever generated enough power to cover its cost. I dont have sauce on hand but look it up, there are tons of studies and stories on it.
Solar is hilariously unusable for anything larger than a lit sign in most of the world. The big solar farms in the desert that turn water into steam slaughter wildlife including endangered species. Greenies dont care though.
None of the green techs are really green. They are all scams. Until they let us use cold fusion (see Navy patents) we should be using what we have that is available and efficient, while we concentrate on mitigating deletrious effects.
I live in SoCal and of all the times I’ve driven through those desert solar farms all I’ve seen is traditional panels. What’s the water one you’re talking about? I will add that solar is so efficient out here it’s borderline retarded to not have it. If you bank your electricity you can laugh at all your neighbors when the power goes out too. I have liberal neighbors so don’t feel bad for them.
Evaporative ponds full of Brine, that take 1 years to evaporate and poison the ground water and soil are horrible
Do you imagine that is the only way to separate lithium carbonate from brine?
Steam engines were dominant before the ICE. Electrical engines are superior to ICE. We already have electrical prop planes that can fly at half the cost of ICE planes
As for cleaning up mining, there are many companies that will begin production THIS YEAR that are not only extremely green, but will revolutionize both clay and brine extraction for nickel and lithium. I know, I work with one as an advisor.
I'll concede that electric motors are incredible in many ways. What are we going to do with the giant batteries when they are no longer useful? it is a huge toxic burden on the horizon along with the giant windmills and solar panels. No way to recycle that crap.
Lithium batteries can be recycled almost indefinitely. In fact Quantumscape has shown that recycled lithium has ~42% greater surface area than virgin Lithium. So point in fact, recycled Lithium is substantially more chemically reactive, due to the porous nature of the recycling process
There are several companies entering into the industry to do this. Battery grade lithium Carbonate was $12,840 back in 2019 and just topped over $40,000 this past year. There is gold sitting in the e-waste lithium collection sites
How could you not know?? You know your car has a certain range and you know how far you’re going. Why you haven’t planned out the charging route is beyond me? And the fact you have to plan these things out just to go on a short road trip is why I don’t drive one of those poc.
That is one of the funniest things I have ever heard!!! Gotta love it. Then she whines about how long it takes to charge. Didn't she ask those questions before she bought that POS toy?
Imagine her getting stuck in a winter storm. Her car would become a brick on the road, without power.
"Trying to do the right thing" never led to genocides.
It is ironic but google maps does not show a lot of charging stations north of Sunnyvale in Silicon valley. Most of them appear to be near downtown San Jose.
Oh the irony!! She was on her way to a fucking climate hoax rally! Ever wonder if God has a sense of humor? WONDER NO MORE!

What's CFP?
www.citizenfreepress.com, a news aggregator site.
Ah, I remember seeing them around the election. They were like a drudge clone. Looks different now.
It's OK and so far unpozzed.
Better is Ace of Spades @ https://www.ace.mu.nu/ "Morning Report"; drops by 10AM usually.
They link "Free Covid test kits via USPS" in the sidebar. Yikes. Big yikes.
It's a block ad rotator. Were you compelled to get tested?
He absolutely does! The almighty gives us leftards to laugh at continuously.
Did she threaten to call the police..????
And a helicopter. Both of which require fossil fuels
Godly intervention, like when He confused the languages at Babel.
Here is her actual problem, California -

This fool probably doesn't realize that 80% or so of the electric generation comes from coal and natural gas. These people really are dopes.

The problem is with the PUSH and using other people's money for 'incentives'. Fake gas prices etc.
Like tech development if worth while, shouldn't involve profits in the billion. Think vax.
EV same shit, I personally. Love the idea of hybrids. Can't wait for the woodchips/water/gas/electric hybrid space car later tbh.
Could not agree more
Steve Jobs didn’t need the Feds to create Apple; nor did Henry Ford need a grant.
A good idea will draw investors and large corporations. Let capitalism work

Top fuckin kek
Love her clown glasses! Just wait till they get rid of fossil fuels - but why doesn’t the electricity WeRk?
There's enough lens there to make glasses for 3 people. Does she know plastic is made from petroleum?
In situations like this, i’m grateful for Social media. Otherwise we could not see these retards in action. They can help but video their every move.
Plan ahead, dumbass.
Nothing is ever deleted, hahaha.
How could you not know?? You know your car has a certain range and you know how far you’re going. Why you haven’t planned out the charging route is beyond me? And the fact you have to plan these things out just to go on a short road trip is why I don’t drive one of those poc.
I love the part where it keeps sending her to charging stations that don't exist. There should be a lot more of that happening.
Yes, jokes on them, probably a white operation to let these libs experience, the hard way, what they wholeheartedly support.
All liberal White women look the same.
And hate the same. Freaking karens.
Oh, this is beautiful and needs to be shared on every social media site.
I loved the comment quoting George Orwell. So true.
That is one of the funniest things I have ever heard!!! Gotta love it. Then she whines about how long it takes to charge. Didn't she ask those questions before she bought that POS toy?
I was let down. I thought the doors were locked and it was on fire.
👏😁

There are two types of EV, the shithole ones and Tesla. Same goes with charging infrastructure.
Just like VR and Bitcoin, if something is the future for more than a decade, it's not the future.
Now that is privilege.
When she put those ridiculous glasses she looked like something from that goofy app that adds retard filters to your face. Fitting, really.
It is ironic but google maps does not show a lot of charging stations north of Sunnyvale in Silicon valley. Most of them appear to be near downtown San Jose.
No wonder Elon pulled Tesla out of CA.
What a stupid bitch.
I really want to suggest she get one of those hydrogen powered Toyota’s so that she squirms even more when it comes time to fill up.
I'll bet that her car is her giant red pill!! i hear that there's a good deal on a coal-burning car out there today!
Please someone PLEASE slap the Curb Your Enthusiasm song on this lol
LoL, tool
The cunt should have called Chargepoint.
Love it
🤦♀️🤣
She is to stupid to be an idiot. She is a moron!!!
Stupid cunt with her virtue signaling shirt!
