Exactly what happened to me. Terrified women would back down the aisle (so they wouldn't be going the wrong direction) when I walked down the aisle the opposite direction of the arrows. Or would back up against the shelf to give as much room as possible as I walked by them.
My walmart and wegmans (big grocery chain store) put big arrows on the floor to tell you which way to walk down the aisles. That way you could stay distanced without passing other people.
Obviously, just like sitting down at a restaurant, walking with the arrows prevents coof. And even if it doesn't, imagine how much worse your coof would be if you don't follow this science.
The fact that this and the queue distance markers happened globally and within the span of only a week or at most two should be a HUGE indicator of this being planned and organized before the fact, It was literally EVERYWHERE in the world within 1 to 2 weeks.....
I just took my usual route through the store and didn't notice the arrows until after some lady gave me the stink eye. Then I went the "wrong way" deliberately and maintained eye contact with anyone that looked at me funny.
