On the other hand - if I was in the Ottawa police force, and they started pulling this shit - and you could see down the road all this BS coming for you I'd resign immediately too. Alternative description ( at least US), is highway tax free fuel. As long as not used by a vehicle on a highway, can be used for any, I.e., heaters, generators, tractors, dozers.

Winters in Canada are aren't joke, and withholding fuel that people need to survive the elements is IMO a crime against humanity.

I was wondering if anyone was going to catch on to this. I'm not a lawyer, but what they've got police doing is seizing private property from people who've committed no crime, and they're arresting people who are giving charity to protestors. None of that can possibly be legal. Now, we've got an actual lawyer who can cite the letter of the law, which is excellent.
The fascists keep pushing. They are worried about this because it's effective. Trudeau panicked and ran. Someone panicked and got on the phone to GoFundMe to ask them to engage in high-tech thievery. They'll pay for that because it's not legal. Now the Canadian government is panicking and they have their gestapo seizing private property: and not just any private property. They're seizing heating fuel during the middle of winter from people using that fuel to stave off sub-zero temperatures. They're seizing their cooking fuel and their food too. They're literally starving and freezing their own citizens who've violated no law. In the US, that's a crystal clear 4th amendment violation. But I can't imagine any free country that would allow this. These people are panicking in ways that are clear violations of their own laws.
Send in more lawyers.
