Back in early 90's there was a 3rd party, non politician business tycoon from Texas, named Ross Perot, running for POTUS. A younger 20-something me went to one of his rallies in Denver, and it truly was reminiscent of a Trump rally. He talked anti establishment, flat taxes, and strong on economic ideals.
Perot finished 3rd in '92, but knowing what we know now, likely higher than GHWB but prob not higher than Slick Willy (Bill Clinton for you millennials ;) because, you know, women voters (& cucks) found him handsome, plus he played saxophone on the Arsenio Hall Show (which is like Kimmel or Fallon for you millenials ;)
Your right. We all grew up knowing. Our parents were young when JFK and Bobby and MLK were all killed. Their parents were young men & women during WWII, they saw all of that. In just a few generations we’ve been taught how much our freedoms have been taken away and have witnessed it. We listened to the older people tell us that we don’t know how lucky we are to have not lived through the depression, like they did... Our whole lives have been witnessed to “conspiracy theories”. It’s almost like the previous generations prepared us for what’s to come...
I voted for Perot, twice. I am a Seattleite who spent her latest teens/early 20s immersed in the grunge scene--many more like me exist :-)

Perot was meant to split the vote for the Repubs so Slick Willy could get elected, thus cementing our journey to socio-fasci-communism. And it worked.
He sounded good on paper, until after the election and all the dirt about him surfaced. Had that not happened, he may have had a chance at beating Clinton in '96. This is what led to what we now today as the "wrap up smear."
He also promised to send $5 to everyone that voted for him...I remember those old commercials. He surprised a lot of people but he was right on a lot of topics.

It took a lot of waiting at kids sports to watch the whole video (5 hours) but it was shocking how many musicians and unHolywood stars are making the hand signs.
