Does anyone remember the 2019 phone calls between Trump and Zelensky? I knew nothing about Zelensky but based on those calls I always felt that he was a white hat.
The calls definitely annoyed the MSM at the time, who were furious and pushed the "quid pro quo" attack on Trump. They took the position that Trump had offered weapons to Zelensky in exchange for dirt on Biden. To me though it sounded more like in exchange for information on US corruption in Ukraine.
The full transcripts of the calls were never released, only edited summaries. At the time I read them as closely as I could but now can't find so much.
