Probably because it used to work so well for so long they haven't had time to upgrade. I honestly think this is the case. At least for me when I first "discovered", officially, that I had been attempted to be indoctrinated and brainwashed into embracing nonsense and fraudulent narratives, I was just like "wow.
How did it take me THIS long to finally realize this was a deliberate attempt to manipulate the masses, in order to continue getting away with absurdly corrupt, selfish scandals/crimes?"
At least for me it felt like my brain suddenly "learned" how to activate the "bullshit detector", part of itself, during a few months time, very quickly, and all at once.
But at the same time it felt completely natural. Weird to try and explain, but I can see how they would still try and push such absurd low quality fake news. Since there's still a good chunk of the population that haven't yet "activated", their bullshit detectors.

look at the shadow-like line around the back of the boot on the chair and lack of shadow on the chair under the toe... along calf line of the other leg appears to be a shadow like line running the wrong direction based on the natural light and possible flash from camera....
