I'm still awaiting for apologies from people who were fooled two days ago by retracted stories. These maskholes would rather go to the grave than admit that they got got.
I’m sorry but you will most likely be waiting forever. Very few people that still believe the lies will make apologies. Only very honorable people will apologize. I started to say true friends, but I hate that term. You are either a friend or you aren’t!
Some (a small percentage) may have health issues that make them feel particularly vulnerable. But I think a lot have just come to feel comfortable with them. Like having a security blanket or an emotional support animal. It's sad.
Yes, I understand that, but that doesn't mean they understand that. People are going to do what makes them feel okay, feel safe. If that's the case for them, so be it. I'm not going to be a tyrant and tell them they can't. Imo, nobody should. Not quite yet. That day will come, but it's not here yet.
If their health is truly that fragile and they believe masks work they should never take them off. Covid is hardly the only threat to their fragile health. If they aren't willing to be consistent, sorry, they lose my respect. I don't coddle stupidly
The masks are a magical talisman that protects them from germs. That’s about it. This is common thinking amongst germaphobes and people with other phobic disorders, as a person cannot live in a 24/7 state of fear and will invent magic talismans to soothe their anxiety. This is also why they don’t actually care about the quality of mask, the type of mask, the cleanliness of the mask, the efficacy of the mask, the consistency of the mask. A lot of these people will hang the thing around their chin for half the day and still feel protected from Covid because a magical talisman, in their mind, still works around their chin.
The inconsistency is maddening as well, I see the same people at work wearing one in the morning, then not wearing one an hour later, a few hours later wearing it again. What is COVID only active during certain hours of the day?
They do not like themselves and the mask gives them a sense of comfort. I believe they are all struggling with their own internal battles and they are helpless, mostly because they do not want to accept help or hear they are wrong. Because again, they are self conscious and worry about what others think about them and can’t think on their own.
I am extremely sensitive to energy and I feel this when I am around those who are still masked. I can literally “hear” and feel how being alive is difficult for them. It’s very sad. They are very unhappy people.
So living n Texas i saw a few weeks back at a stop sign 4 way stop, the vehicle across intersection a F150, lone driver a white male maybe 30 years old. Wearing A FACE DIAPER / MASK. I’ve been pondering ever sense how he gets to this behavior, can he reason, can he think, how many more are there. I tell u and Q there are a shitload more than 6% lost. Like 50%.
Those continuing to wear one are suffering from a state of covid derangement syndrome. When I see someone wearing one all I can think of is they are truly mentally ill.
It makes no sense to me. At this point, I've decided that anyone still wearing a mask is either seriously immune compromised and they don't feel comfortable going out in public OR they are mentally unstable and beyond help
I'm immunocompromised and I never wanted to wear a mask or get the clot shot. I don't even get flu shots though my doctors pressure me to.
I think people who actually have to live with chronic illness don't panic over every little thing because they have real problems they've been dealing with a long time.
It's like all these kids pretending to be 131 different genders or claiming to be autistic or ill when they're not. They just want to feel special and coddled.
I was thinking there is virtue signalling, which we have identified, but there is also “unique signalling”. A lot of these Tik Tok kids aren’t so much interested in signalling how virtuous they are, but how unique they are. “Unique signalling” isn’t very catchy though, but it might be effective if we could give this behavior a name.
I’m starting to believe it’s become a habit for some people. There work requires the mask. They don’t stand up to work & continue to the mask for two years.
I used to go a local store a lot. I’m a very outgoing person and will tell complete strangers my life story. I got to this woman at the store. I just ran into her tonight in another store. She had her work clothes on & the mask.
(I don’t mean this to be racist!) For the past year I’ve read on social media and other places people of color don’t trust the vaccine or the government. (Good reason! The government has done some evil 💩 to them!) I’ve heard many say they won’t get vaccinated. I see a mostly black people here in Eastern NC wearing mask when I’m shopping. I don’t mean all black people, they are the majority.
This lady is black & I don’t know if she got vaccine. It might have been mandatory for her job. (Chain store)
*** Again I’m not trying to start racist comments! It’s what I’m seeing. I don’t have links to back up what I say. Before I came here I followed a lot of like minded instagram accounts of different races, against the mandates.
I still see a lot of colored women wearing them while most of the men don't, it's extra silly when you see a couple where only one wears it and you wonder how much longer until the divorce happens.
I haven’t seen that. I’ll start paying more attention.
I agree, if your in a house all the time with someone a mask isn’t going to help. I have always cleaned door knobs, light switches & remotes when someone got sick. Sharing the same towel at the bathroom will get you.
I’m very careful when one of us is sick & last time I had a cold stupid me didn’t put two towels in the bathroom.
I think it's very sad that they still do. Some are still afraid. Some are wearing it because of peer pressure and the most fkd up reason of all is it's become a security blanket for them, it's kinda like how someone who has been imprisoned too long becomes institutionalized
What gets me, the mask are still being pushed, but not cleanliness. The faithful mask wearers are probably wearing dirty mask.
I never see ads saying “wash your hands”!
I see disposable mask hanging in cars. They are meant to be used and thrown out. If you have cloth mask wash them.
When this first started my friend is a nurse & they didn’t have enough mask. Her hospital was washing the mask & (however they cleaned them) everyone got a washed mask the next day. So you got a half assed washed mask worn by your coworker. My friend & some others started bringing their mask home & washing their own mask.
Since being an adult I’ve been a hand washer. Probably as a teenager, I don’t remember. If I’m shopping out in public the first thing I do upon entering home is wash my hands. Same if I’m shopping and go to a restaurant. I wash my hands. I think I become obsessed when I started cooking with meat, as an adult.
This car pulled onto the interstate in front of me yesterday, and the car had on like this full-coverage cover (like a black car cover but padded, and it had plastic for the windows). I have never seen anything like it but I feel like it was basically a car mask. And surprise! - the driver was alone in the car with a mask on.
At my kids elementary school, they finally lifted the mandate and get this…. It’s been days and still only my son and two other people (one being a teacher) are going mask-free. It’s so insane.
Of course, our burb is the one with the highest Jewish population and one of the only burbs outside of Cook County to mandate a vax card for restaurants etc…. What does that tell ya.

Lives so empty, they're just happy to be part of something. Even if it's idiotic
The state mandate ended and within days they're a minority around here again, we'll see how long they hold out when they're the bottom 1%.

Me too, and well said! That’s why when I am around them I send them so much love using the gift of energy healing that God trusted me with.

Occums Razor would indicate they’re just fucking stupid.
😂

Assume the later, even people with cancer or on chemo in the past didn't act like this before 2020.
Very true
Whenever I see someone wearing a mask I see someone who likes to watch other men fuck their wife.
I thought I was the only freak thinking this hahaha

I laughed my ass off and shook my head. Sad.

Most of them still believe it keeps them safe, from "droplets".
I know some are wearing them out of grief for those who died, illogical as that might seem.
My Mom still wears a mask in public, in the hopes that it will protect her from being shed on by vaccinated people.
My mom also continues to wear one, although she skipped the booster. Now to protect her from EVERYTHING.
