I qualified for American Marksman just to see how I'd stack against rest of the nation and was top 3 out of the gate. Eventually fell to 4th in region as people realized they could keep qualifying over and over at $20 a pop. I bowed out though I was invited to next phase. Many others probably did the same. I agree that there is serious talent out there, outside of the spotlight.
