Yes, but Prayers For The Restaurants doesn't have the same ring. And what colors will people use for their Facebook filters for the restaurants?
This really pisses me off. Why are we squandering so much when we could be so prosperous
Democrats don’t want a prosperous America. They hate themselves and their fellow citizens.
They LOVE themselves and the power and wealth they achieve while in office, and see the destruction of the U.S. as an avenue for even greater wealth and power!
well... the dumbocrats are convinced by the elite that it is good for them to be enslaved by the elites and they thank them for their bondage.
Only for being duped so bad they feel it won't matter anymore
It's not their fault. They HAD to, in order to create that extra money to give us all this "wonderful" inflation....
But then the poor poor bankers would have to find real jobs :((
That was one of the first results I noticed from the Trump presidency. Everything started to pick up almost immediately. All it took was someone who watched the pennies and thought of the people.
I am not American so I was viewing this from afar and I began to wonder just how well-off Americans would be if they were not being run by crooks who were syphoning off money in every way they could think of.
The US debt increased by 8 trillion under trump, I wouldn’t exactly call that “watching the Pennies.” He did a lot of things right but money management was not one of them.
Congress controls the purse.
And Trump held veto power… but here we are. This isn’t an argument this is simple facts. I’m not saying he did anything wrong, he just didn’t watch the pennys
And it's in the Constitution that both houses can override the veto.
Name one single time his veto was overridden?
Veto power can be beaten.
Also, a good chunk of that money went into infrastructure that was cut instantly upon Biden breaking into the White House.
Cough, Pipeline for example.
Sometimes debt is an investment, like into a wall to prevent or deter invaders, or into energy infrastructure for lower risk of tragedy, or Ukraine for the big man's pockets, or internet infrastructure to improve communication speed and efficiency or oil infrastructure to keep us generating more money in the long run and cut down on our reliance on hostile nations.
What I mean is, not all debt is bad -- sometimes you take on additional debt to reduce costs elsewhere in the long run or improve efficiency and incoming finances.
That said, a lot of that is controlled by Congress and they refused to play ball if he didn't play it back. Not making excuses for him, I'm pissed too. But we definitely see the difference between 4 years of a patriot with resistance from evil, and 4 years of evil with no resistance at all.
Veto power can be beaten, but he never even tried. As far as the debt argument, You are right that it can be good but in our scenario it largely wasn’t. It still largely helped the top 10+% and left the middle class high and dry just like the democrats. It was great I had 50 dollars more In my paycheck, but that doesn’t make the mortgage easier to pay and didn’t reduce our debt to strengthen our ability to self isolate from the global economy.
You're correct. He let himself be held hostage a good fair bit on the things he wanted. I get that he wanted to negotiate fairly but when they are stacking these funding bills with trillions in cumulative dollars for their pet projects, that's not negotiating fairly
Yes I was about to say this. The Trump administration were not very frugal spenders. That's a real criticism I've only been able to substantiate and never rebuttal.
Nonetheless, it was a tremendous job he did with what should've been a permanently broken system.
So you rent a car or two and your home?
Leverage, when used wisely, can benefit in the long run, Commie....
Uhhh, yeah leverage makes sense when your assets appreciate, but none of the money went to paying for assets that could one day be sold. All we’re doing is over leveraging ourselves with the hope that it will provide small dividends through tax income in the future, too bad the US has never run a surplus of $100 Billion, let alone the $300 billion + that would be needed to one day pay down our debt while keeping ahead of interest payments.
One of the lamest media talking points. Yeah man, Trump's a really dumb money guy....
It’s not a talking point, it’s a fact. We spent more than we brought in, and we invested in areas that will never provide enough value to keep in front of the interest payments, let alone pay back the debt in any realistic time period.
I’m not saying he’s a bad money man, his methods just don’t work when there is no underlying asset that can be sold.
Bro you're treating this economy as if it's based off of something legitimate. You're rationalizing money being printed out of thin air as if it's a solid economic theory. The whole point is to cause it's collapse while mitigating collateral damage as much as possible. Trump "printed" all that money because it was never "real" to begin with. The national debt is a joke and only exists in the old criminal enterprise. It's monopoly money, bro. Nobody here invests in the US Dollar. We trade those for something provably created like precious metals and crypto. That should be a hint for you.
It's like...turn off Fox News.
Yikes, that is some grade A copium right there lol. Trump touted how great the economy was while simultaneously destroying it? I’ve read a lot of dumb shit in my day but THAT takes the cake. Hell, it takes the whole damn bakery.
Also, what exactly do you think the value of crypto and metals are based on? Faith in its inherent (and unreal) value to another. Just like the dollar. If you think you’re “outsmarting the system” by investing in alternative assets, then you’re just as dumb as the rest of them. Smart investors know the only thing that matters is big numbers, everything else is left there to keep peasants like you entertained.
US debt has never affected me personally. Maybe in some nebulous ways, but nothing I can think about.
Lower taxes, higher employment, and cheaper gas all made me more prosperous during the Trump era.
I agree, but the statement was he watched pennies, which isn’t true
You and I both, my guess is Controlled demolition ... if we could get all normies to see.
Then what?
What would you do beyond that? Are you waiting for their approval?
No, I don’t need their approval for anything, but we need them to see what’s going on. If they won’t or don’t want to then that’s that,I feel there are many who are just now saying “something is weird here.”
Bexause congress voted for it
Whut-whut?
🤡
If you save dying American small businesses you are a Putin apologist!
🤡
Restaurant’s aren’t going to properly funnel that cash back to needy bureaucrats and their Ukrainian war movie set!! Without staged photos WW3 is over!! Putin wins!
"You own nothing and you will be happy" (Klau SS chwab). The second part of the sentence is false.
This is why they're teaching common core in schoo. They don't want you doing maths
You mean skoo.
ah yes.
Bingo.
The dumbing down of society has consequences.
21trillion divided by the entire population of America would be roughly $63,000 to each man woman and child. Instead it goes to gender studies in Palestine, Congressional raises, and foreign war "aid."
Not to take away from the point of the post, but I love when people say, "I did the math. It turns out 10x10=100!"
Right. Also "At least 100,000 restaurants were closed". There are over 1 million restaurants in America.
restaurants do what exactly??? Fill people's pockets with money.. business owners.. yeah no... how about 15 billion to the combat veterans in this country?
Combat veterans do what exactly??? Fill politicians pockets with money... oligarchs... yeah no... how about 15 billion to the drag queen story hour?
A lot more than anyone else has ever done for this country especially some whiny fuckers thinking they deserve anything because they went to college or was privileged to own a business.. fuck off liberal
Wow.
My husband's barber who is just a single shop with no employees received 60k last year in covid19 payments. I'm guessing by the sba, not sure about that, for the closing of businesses during the rona plandemic. 😳 We were glad someone we know received the money as he's a good friend and barber for life. We were just shocked at the amount. 😳😳😲
Long story short: In 2008 we have 2 trillion in "bailouts" to big banks. In 2020 we gave zero to small businesses.
I really hope people quit falling for the Democrat Party "free stuff" and "we care" pickup lines now. It should be obvious to any casual observer that they will readily give billions to anybody, including themselves, except to American citizens. Remember how they scrunched their noses when Trump suggested $2000 in stimulus? I'm preaching to the Choir here, I know.
Oh, we get it.
But how are grants to restaurants going to find their way thru back door channels to end up in politician families/campaigns? Especially in the Millions? 🤔 That's not how any of this works.
Sure, but evil greedy small business owners don't deserver the money. On the other hand, the poor Ukrainian oligarchs are down to their last several plundered billions and poor Hunter is running low on crack.
Money laundering gone wild!
Yes but they couldn't steal the money back if they gave it to Americans like to a foreign war effort...
Yes, but they can’t launder money that way.
That's great, but who's going to stop any of this from happening?
The Clinton foundation will only get 14 billion. The rest will go to the Obama's and a little to zielinskis thugs
Wasn’t that exactly what the PPP loans were?
Who are these fucking idiots.
