You might ask.
It's because the sea between Taiwan and China is notoriously chaotic every time of the year EXCEPT in the Spring.
Every other time of the year, the rickety old hand-me-down air carriers and frigates that the Chinese bought from closeout military sales cannot sustain the constant wear and tear of a sea that's frequently pressing on ships with waves as tall as the flagpole on deck.
It just cannot be done any other time of the year. Only in the Spring do the waves calm down enough to let ships anchor in dead water.
If they were to strike, it would be now, and not a moment later.
Taiwan has used the sea between them to protect itself from mainland China for centuries.
I'm not sure it will go down, personally.
Taiwan is to China as Ukraine is to Russia. All the heads of the criminal enterprises hide out in Taiwan and Ukraine, but their foot soldiers do all their deals in China and Russia respectively. The mainland law can't follow them to their hideouts, and their hideouts themselves are in nations that are non-nations. They don't adhere to any NATO/UN statutes, because they are "transitioning into a sovereign nation." This transition is intentionally perpetual. They want to take advantage of all the benefits that forming nations enjoy from international bodies, yet never join the international bodies because then they'd have to pay into the scheme.
Ukraine and Taiwan are equally as crooked, BUT Taiwan cannot be taken over like how Russia has done with Ukraine.
Why?
Well, while Ukraine was behind a lot of drug and medical trade, Taiwan is behind a lot of tech and microchip trade.
We can do without medical, because it's been designed to kill us anyways.
We can't do without tech, even if the tech out of Taiwan was intentionally laced with tracking bugs, keyloggers, and listeners.
The CCP are behind the Taiwan takeover, not China and the Alliance members there. This is different from Ukraine vs Russia.
The Plan, I suspect, was to take over Taiwan economically while subverting the CCP. Xi Jinping, however, seems to have struck some sort of accord and is going against the White Hat plans internationally. He's gonna try to dissolve the CCP (as was planned), but instead of handing off to White Hat elements in Taiwan, he's gonna use the CCP powers, while they still exist, to continue China's current path of a hybrid system of venture capitalism that plays into a communist oligarchy should the venture become to profitable.
Doesn't make Xi a bad guy, but it also doesn't make him a good guy. He's just foolish and overconfident.
He should have stuck to the plan. He's only costing China more lives in order to keep a silly dream alive.

I don't think it was ment to be taken out economically. They need to get rid of some people too or they will just flee to another country. Perhaps after 3rd or 4th invasion normies will wake up and see pattern.
Taiwan's only natural resource is that it is further out in the Pacific compared to China.
Taiwan's economic strength is as a trade hub and a end-use industry manufacturing site.
Ask yourself, why else would China want Taiwan at all?
If the cost to take Taiwan is higher than the return in industry, then there is no reason to take Taiwan by military force other than out of desperation.
China's always conquers their foes by infiltrating corporate entities and turning their deeds and ownership over to the CCP-led venture capitalist system in China.
Taiwan has been resistant, because they know the scheme, but not immune.
Taiwan's biggest companies are by-and-large owned by ancient Chinese heritage families who have been propped up by deals with the Mainland China capitalist interest groups.
China's main deterrent in taking Taiwan by force is that if they are too heavy-handed they might crush the very aspects of Taiwan that make it an appetizing target to begin with. A painting may be worth 100 million dollars, but if you have to crumple it up in order to steal it, is it still worth 100 million dollars after you steal it?
Right now, the things that make Taiwan appealing for seizure are falling apart with the globalist entities going bankrupt. China has a brief window to come in and forcefully claim those companies in Taiwan before they deteriorate beyond a Taiwan invasion being justifiable from an economic perspective. After that window closes, China would incur more cost than profit in having taken Taiwan.
The way to take Taiwan peacefully, therefore, is primarily corporate.
Take control over all of Taiwan industry, buy up the land, and then "evict" the "squatters" who refuse to leave China-owned lands.
That's the Plan I suspect Patriots are trying to hijack from the CCP/China, who have been working on the scheme for decades now.
China cooked up this plan to take Taiwan. It's likely Patriots sought to use the same plan, because it was working, and instead of hand off Taiwan to China, hand China off to Taiwan.
Which is to say, Xi uses his knowledge of the CCP to "clean house" in Taiwan, set up all the CCP infiltrators for Taiwanese crimes, take down the oligarchs in a massive corporate shake-down, the under-table investments the CCP made into Taiwanese company heads comes to light, the deals are cancelled, the CCP loses all the money they invested with no return in Taiwanese assets, the CCP implodes completely, and the venture capitalist members in China demand China dissolve communist rule entirely, citing the dirty and untenable nature of the CCP that was revealed, and Taiwan's core government brokers a deal to merge Mainland China and Taiwan in order to ease economic hardships. Xi Jinping steps down, or takes an advisor role in the effort to dissolve what's left of CCP assets, and Taiwan's authentic leaders and the Emperor of China strike a deal to guarantee peace and a return to a pre-Mao, probably parliamentary, federal government.
Xi Jinping is critical in consolidating CCP power under one house for the hand-off. If he rejects this role, as it appears he has done, then none of this comes to pass and Taiwan, while clean, still has a "reformed", Xi-led CCP China sniffing down their neck.
It can still go either way, but taking Taiwan by force seals the deal on the corporations and companies in Taiwan ever surviving the storm unscathed by the ravages of kinetic warfare.

What's the timeline do you think?
If what you are saying is true, it doesn't sound like blood is going to be shed from an open conflict, but it also sounds like it's going to be years to get things sorted.
Since Xi might be diverging, who knows what the timeline is now in Asia.
If Taiwan takes China, like I theorize, maybe about 14 years until all CCP assets are cast to the winds.
Look to the post-USSR procedures for a timeline on that.

Spring. What year? This year or the next. Definitely before 2024.
China is tasked with curating a lot of the election theft materials, like fake ballots. Not just in the US. That's a lot of money and business going to a lot of crime syndicates and "legit" Chinese printing companies.
If we manage to fix our elections before 2024, then the shady Chinese companies behind that effort will all go bust. As bad as China's economy is now, with their Ghost Cities being demolished and scrapped for raw materials, they can't handle that many printing services and crime organizations dropping dead as well. The ripple effect would clip their wings and spread to every last industry China has their fingers in, worldwide.
If White Hats had a hand in redirecting the plot the CCP cooked up years ago, then it also has to happen under Biden's watch...
If Trump isn't back in before 2024, then I doubt Taiwan will ever face a military-active China invasion.
Their only time to act is 2022 or 2023, when Biden is safely secured.
Keep in mind, Xi Jinping and Putin, both, are on a need-to-know basis on when Trump or another MAGA candidate will be plopped back in the US Presidential Seat.
Why would they need to know the date Trump comes back? Or if he ever does...
