I got the email as well but my account hasn't been locked since getting the emails.
Maybe they took their little ban buttons away?
Maybe check the header data on the email. Could have been sent from a third party as a distraction, trying to discourage you with a fake ban notice.
I checked, it was legit. I can still tweet but they put a little disclaimer under that tweet that the information is misleading.
Nah it's legit plus they embedded the tweets in the email. I see all 4 "offensive" tweets I made in each email I got from Twatter but I still was able to continue tweeting normally after being told I'm locked out.

I remember playing that back in 03-04. 56K Dial up MMORPG greatness! Didn't sink a ton of time into it though as I shifted over into the WoW camp.
Recently started the FF7 Remake on PS5. It's really good and I highly recommend it if you were a fan of 7. Square just announced a FF9 Remake in early development as well.
FF7 may be good but FF3 (US version)/FF6 (Japanese version) is the best! I remember being in college and FF7 came out. Played it til I got to the 2nd disc but had to stop cuz I was neglecting on my studies. The guy who lived down the hall from me, also got it and finished the game over the weekend. A week later, he had to file a LOA because he fell so far behind in his studies and his grades went downhill fast. Before leaving, he said, "No regrets! FF7 is the bomb!!!"
Ha! Gotta love those kinda gaming memories! The remake of 7 is great but it doesnt have that retro grit to it that many prefer.
And I concur, FF3 is the absolute best in the series! It was my second console RPG as a teen following Chrono Trigger. I think the only RPGs I had played to completion prior to those were Baldur's Gate and the NES Zelda.

Damn I've e posted worse and my 4th account still lives.
Was just going through my emails today, after a week of not checking emails, and I just discovered that my Twatter account was supposed to be locked due to 4 "offensive, misinformed" tweets that took place about 4 days ago.
Because I didn't check my emails, I wasn't aware that my account was "locked" as I kept on using Twatter and had no issues. Then today, I see the "locked" email and I was like, "HAHA YOU LOSE! GOOD DAY!"
A moogle deserves to be hugged. We won't let Twitter get in the way.
