So SEC busts in, tears Twitter apart, commies go to jail, Musk buys it for a metaphorical penny and says oh hey I have chicks to pick up in Japan and just gives it to Trump/DWAC
Liberals can't be that stupid, oh wait, they are!
lmao
Something about a company ran by a bunch of Indians that turns out to be a scam … it’s almost predictable…
Brilliant user name.
Brilliant user name.
Even if Elon gets lumped with $1bn bill for pulling out of the deal, that's not a bad price for destroying the #1 propaganda machine in the world.
Plus, he would have grounds to sue the hell out of them for fraud. I'd suggest at least $2bn, considering all the slandering he's received at the hands of the tweeps.
He did buy that first chunk of Twitter based on the SEC filling, so that would put him in a position to sue.
Minimum $10 bil.
Lawyers gotta get their cut, then taxes.
So, at a $10 bil suit win he might break even for the $1bil initial loss.
He may have just confirmed that it was the plan. His response of "Absolutely" may have been in reference to the second part of Rich's tweet.
I agree that it's becoming increasingly plausible that Musk's plan from the start was to expose Twatter, not buy it (at least not immediately).
But we're making some dangerous assumptions on this drama. I've seen posts along the lines of "Remember, Musk's plan all along was to expose Twatter, not buy it", as though that was somehow something that was confirmed and people are forgetting.
Part of thinking critically means accepting gray areas until more information is available.
We still don't fully know what's going on here. Musk should still be viewed as an unknown quantity. Most of us are very pleased with what he's been doing and saying the past couple of months, but we can't let that stop us from carefully and dispassionately analyzing his statements and deeds.
When you make a SEC filing does that contain the phrase peanalty of perjury?
Only if they have allergies.....I'll get my coat.
Thank you.
I thought as much that there's a lot of fake bots and so after using it for couple of months, not showing up there any more. I think or believe it's more than 20%. I would not be surprise if it's more like 40.
There was an HBO documentary in 2021 called Fake Famous.
The producers auditioned a bunch of unknown wannabees, selecting 4 of them. They 'zhuzhed' them up a bit with fresh haircuts and makeup, assigned them professional stylists who put them in borrowed clothes, shoes, jewelry, sunglasses and manufactured fake situations in fake locations made to look like real locations and utilized professional photographers to capture it all.
They created them out of whole cloth.
Then the producers purchased thousand and thousands of FAKE FOLLOWERS and Russian bots for each of them for pennies, nearly.
Suddenly, these unknown nobodies with no particular talent went viral and became seen as 'influencers' and garnered thousands of real followers, including businesses who reached out to them to give them free things, job opportunities, etc.....
It was a real eye opener. Worth watching.
Hey thanks.
I will definitely go watch.
Just for the sake of logic and accuracy until more actual data turns up: he didn't confirm anything of the sort. He tweeted "absolutely" in response to a tweet with multiple premises in it that he might be responding to e.g. "big trouble" or "perpetuated fraud"
Pedojo has about 1/2 bots following.
Sounds like due diligence. You wouldn’t buy a house without having it inspected first, right?
👍🏻
I thought Elon was dumb after the announcement that he was buying cesspool Twitter. Why would he buy this lump of shit?
I was wrong.
