This reminded me of something I had forgotten. We all know that the DC courts are corrupt and I personally expect Sussmann will get off Scott-free or with probation, like Clinesmith.
But Durham interviewed Brennan at Langley. Why there and not DC? Because that brings his case over into the Eastern District of VA (EDVA.) An entirely different set of jurors and judges.
