Toyota Prius being on here is not surprising. They're mostly driven by entitled leftists who think because they're "sAviNg tHe PlAnEt" then they don't need to use turn signals, or they are just more rambunctious with their driving because they're so insane to begin with. It's always some ugly leftist Karen with a multitude of bumper stickers like: Hillary 2016, Bernie 2016, Biden 2020, Protect Trans Kids, Protect Queer Kids, Coexist, I Stand With Planned Parenthood, etc. I've seen too many of these cars and the driver ALWAYS drives erratically like the rules don't apply to them.
Anecdotal experience has me believe that the worst drivers are in Lexus SUVs. Their poor driving decisions were foreshadowed by their poor purchasing decision. They overpayed for a Toyota, they don’t need all that size for a commuter vehicle, and they hardly ever use 4WD. They just paid for the status symbol, because they have a weak brain with weak priorities.
With the exception of the Jeep, all of these cars are Oriental (Japanese or Korean). Maybe they appeal to Oriental drivers. Stereotypes exist for a reason.
It’s not the cars, it’s the people who choose the cars.
My brother lives in Northern VA and has a 15-20 min commute (really short for that trafficky region). He says that just in his neighborhood, there’s a multi-vehicle collision at least once a week, and almost all of the time, both drivers are nonwhite. Usually foreigners.
I see so many of those in the Central TX area, often driven by kool-aid haired dummies, or woke-ass mask-wearing dummies, or by people who like lots of stickers on the back of their cars to virtue signal.
I concur. In the area I live (very hot and sunny) black cars are unpopular and scarce, and have been for many years due to the intense heat issue with them sitting out in the sun here. But back in the day, I had a series of cars that were silver beauties. Every one of them got hit by another driver while minding their own business. Sideswiped while waiting at a light, rear-ended while parked on the street in a residential area, t-boned by a red-light runner, etc. Each time the driver would exclaim, "I didn't see you!" After that, I sought out brightly colored cars to own, and no more surprise accidents.
Point of Observation: Years ago, you'd see every color on the road, solids and metallic colors of every shade. But now all I see is white, gray, varying shades of silver, a few reds and occasionally a tangerine/gold shade. What happened?
I've been looking at buying a new car and the color choices are so limited and boring. Bring back the gorgeous colors!
Leasing became way more popular and if you lease your color options are limited to what they have on the lot at the time. Then they'll want to re-lease them again or sell them after the lease is up so again the dealers focus on leasing the popular colors so they're less likely to have it sit on the lot again. If you want other colors you need by buy firsthand and often special order now.
I've had a black car and very rarely did people pull out in front of me. But my Grey/Silver car...it happened nearly every day. Even leaving my headlights on all the time didn't help.
I notice the Toyota Corolla isn't listed.
By the time a Corolla gets to the accident scene... it's already over.
The Prius is 10 minutes behind that.
Fart... Sniff... ahhh Prius!

OMG, white supremacy is everywhere!

more torque than American muscle? nah

Maybe it’s the light weight of the imports that make them nippy, and the small volume makes people overconfident of getting them into shrinking spaces
I have bought more than 100 white trucks in my life. The young people tear up everything. Dumb asses behind the wheel.
Is it the car or is it the driver??
Is it the gun or the shooter?
We have a bingo!
Exactly.....most on the list are cheaper sporty cars (subarus)....
Subarus are lesbian wagons. Lesbians are the sweet spot of masculine aggression and feminine spacial reasoning

I like!

Yep. Too much like asphalt or the sky.
these are the models preferred by liberals.
Hmmm all the vehicles that tend to have bumper stickers for Bernie or the classic Coexist bumper sticker.
...any accountability for ' vaxxadents '
That's a fun data view. There's a lot you can do with that.
But I bet a lot of it is just linked to old people wanting safe cars, and stupid people wanting cheap sport cars.
